The objective of the Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) at IIM Indore is to ensure that no participant is deprived of education at the institute for financial reasons. The NBFA Committee undertakes a two-step process for deciding the number of awardees and quantum of aid.

Placements: The college guaranteed 100% placement for our programme but achieved only 73% in the previous year. The highest number of companies were core companies, with the least pay starting from ₹2,76,000. Top companies included Adobe, Flipkart, Aditya Birla, and Dell.
Placements: The placement offered simply differs from one discipline to another usually it depends upon the placement office's efforts. Some of the recruiters had a stable relationship with the college for active recruitment. Cognizant and BCG were the top recruiters offering the highest package above 9 LPA.
Placements: College placements brought only the top MNCs for the recruitment. Even they won't invite moderate and least payable companies, and they are looking for standardized placements only. The packages invited would be above 8 LPA only, it's a major drawback in the placements, resulting in the recruitment of the least number of students.
Placements: Almost all students got placed, more than 95%. The highest package is around 50 LPA, the lowest is 10 LPA, and the average is around 25 LPA. Big companies like BCG, Deloitte, and Accenture visit our college. Many students got internships in banks and consultancies. Roles offered are analyst and manager. It's quite good.
Placements: The placement rate in our course was nearly 98%. The highest package offered is 32 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Goldman Sachs, Jefferies, Mood, and others. About 80% of students received internship offers as well.
Placements: IIM is known for its placements all over India. Approximately 66% of students get placements with good packages. The highest package is up to 80 LPA, and the average is 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Tata, Adidas, Mahindra, Tesla, Zebronics, Google, Microsoft, etc. In the last year of PG, there is an internship program.

The students admitted to the Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), PGP HRM (PGPH) and Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) with annual family income below INR 12 LPA are eligible to apply for financial aid. Eligible applicants who wish to apply for the IIM Indore NBFA may apply in the prescribed form as available in PGP/IPM Office. It is important that they apply in the form taken from the respective PGP/IM Office only. All participants who have applied through the EWS quota but have secured the seat through general or any other quota can also apply for NBFA. Any participant who has applied through SC, ST, OBC or physically handicapped quota and falls within the above eligibility criteria can also apply for the NBFA.
The application form for Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) consists of five parts. The parts are:
Part 1: Personal information of the applicant, details of income, family, and funds and signed by the applicant
Part 2: Income Declaration by the Parent/Guardian of the applicant
Part 3: NBFA Datasheet in Excel with supporting documents to be submitted to the respective programme office.
Part 4: Instruction for filling out the application form.
Part 5: FAQs for NBFA
After going through all the parts of the form, candidates can fill out the form and submit it by paying the fee.

The scholarship is awarded to the students selected for pursuing courses at graduate/postgraduate in identified institutions in professional fields such as Management, Medicine, Engineering, Information Technology, Law, and Training etc. In the first stage, the candidate's financial needs will be assessed by evaluating the application submitted by them.
