IIM Indore EMBA Courses & Fees 2025: Admission Dates & Eligibility

GMAT score is one of the many data points considered for providing admission to IIM Indore. Given the emphasis on diversity, nature of work experience, educational background, statement of purpose, sponsorship status (sabbatical/industry sponsored) all these play a critical role in the selection of candidates. The admissions committee decides the cutoff every year. Currently, the institute accepts overall GMAT cutoff for providing admission. Candidates shortlisted based on GMAT score are further called for a personal interview round.

Especially designed for experienced professionals to enhance their knowledge, skills, and capabilities, Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) is an intensive one-year residential programme offered by IIM Indore. This course is accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) London (UK). The programme is spread over five academic terms in IIM Indore campus and one International Immersion module at one of the top-ranking international university. EPGP consists of six segments. PGP is the flagship course of IIM Indore. PGP is accredited by the Association of MBAs, London (AMBA, UK based accreditation agency). Spread over six trimesters across two years, it is also inclusive of a summer project of an eight-week duration. Additionally, in the second year, the course covers electives, namely Information Systems, Marketing, Finance & Accounting, OB & HR, OM & QT, Economics, Communication, Humanities & Social Sciences and Strategy. Apart from the flagship PGP course, IIM Indore also offers a PGP in Human Resource Management (PGP HRM) to the students.

The highest and average package offered during IIM Indore placement 2025 for PGP and IPM programs stood at INR 70 LPA and INR 29.57 LPA, respectively. For PGP admissions at IIM Indore, students must clear the accepted entrance exams such as CAT,  IPMAT, and others. Students must visit the official website of the entrance exam such as CAT. Then appear for the CAT exam. Then appear for the selection round which includes WAT/PI, and others. Receive the admission call. Then report to the selected/allotted college. 

The students admitted to the Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), PGP HRM (PGPH) and Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) with annual family income below INR 12 LPA are eligible to apply for financial aid. Eligible applicants who wish to apply for the IIM Indore NBFA may apply in the prescribed form as available in PGP/IPM Office.  It is important that they apply in the form taken from the respective PGP/IM Office only. All participants who have applied through the EWS quota but have secured the seat through general or any other quota can also apply for NBFA. Any participant who has applied through SC, ST, OBC or physically handicapped quota and falls within the above eligibility criteria can also apply for the NBFA.

Yes, IIM Indore has recorded 100% placements for its PGP and IPM batches passing out in 2024. As per the latest report, the highest and average package offered to PGP and IPM students during IIM Indore placements 2024 stood at INR 100 LPA and INR 25.68 LPA, respectively. GMAT is conducted across India, so, you have a wide selection of test centres to choose from. GMAT is conducted in 33 cities in India across various GMAT test centres. GMAT will be conducted every month. The GMAT date available is different for each location. Click here to check the GMAT date for your location.

While selecting an exam date, you can choose the time of either the morning slot or the afternoon one. This can vary in the next attempt. The availability of GMAT dates depends upon the local test centres, thus, it is advised to start checking the dates in advance.

Candidates seeking admission to the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management of IIM Indore should submit their application online. Aspirants need to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 5,900 including GST. Candidates can pay the application fee via any of the online payment mode. 

For admission to IIM Indore for the flagship MBA (or PGP) course, the result of CAT 2023 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 (If the CAT conducting body follows the trend as in 2022). However, if the trend is not followed, the same will most probably be out by the first week of January 2024. After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for IIM Indore admission.

For admission to MBA (or PGP) at IIM Indore, the CAT test is usually conducted in November. Aspirants of IIM Indore are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam is held in three slots:

Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM

Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

To apply for the CAT exam, candidates are required to create an account, fill the CAT registration form and pay the exam application fee. The CAT form have to be submitted before deadline after which no application will be accepted. The exam is usually conducted in November. Students are required to appear for the CAT exam in Computer Based Testing mode at allotted test centres. CAT exam for IIM Indore admission is held in three slots.

Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM

Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

The total tuition fee for IIM Indore EPGP ranges between INR 7.50 Lacs and INR 17.60 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The aforementioned fee is only indicative considering it is fetched from unofficial sources.  However, as per the official website of IIM Indore, the overall EPGP programme fee is inclusive of tuition fee, course materials fee, student’s stay and food during campus visits and other service facilities, such as library, etc. Students have the provision to pay the fee in installments. Additionally, candidates also need to pay a registration fee of INR 5,900 including GST at the start of the admission process.

EPGP is a full time residential programme with an International module, which requires the candidates to visit one of the top global B-schools. The International module is a compulsory module for all the participants. After successful completion of the one-year Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), a candidate will receive a degree in Master of Business Administration.
