IIM Jammu Admission Overview 2027
IIM Jammu admissions are based on entrance exams. The institute offers several programs at PG and Doctoral level in the field of Management. Check out the major highlights on IIM Jammu admissions below:
- Popular programmes: MBA is the flagship course of IIM Jammu. It is a two-year full-time residential course at PG level. It also offers the Executive MBA (EPGP) program especially for working professionals and Five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) for students who wants to study Management just after their Class 12 .
- Admissions: IIM Jammu admissions are mainly based on entrance exams. For its flagship MBA program, admissions are based on CAT score. Selection in Executive MBA program is based on IIMJAT and IPM program on JIPMAT.
- Accepted Entrance Exams: IIM Jammu also accepts CAT, GMAT and GRE scores for admission to its Executive MBA program.

The first step for MBA admission at IIM Jammu is to complete CAT registration process. Selection Rounds
The second step is to appear for CAT or other relevant entrance exams accepted by IIM Jammu for admission to its courses. CAT is mandatory for admission to flagship MBA program and the shortlisted ones will be called for further rounds of selection. It may include personal interview round, GD and a written ability test.
For admission to other courses at IIT Jammu, the selection process basically involves appearing for the relevant entrance test like JIPMAT, IIMJAT, GMAT and GRE, followed by a personal interview round.

Fee Refund Policy
Once the candidate has accepted the offer, he/she has to pay offer acceptance amount of INR 50 K which can be adjusted in the first semester fee. But, if a candidate wants to withdraw the admission, a processing fee of INR 1,000 will be deducted and rest amount will be given. Candidates have to submit a formal withdrawal request through the student portal before a specified deadline stated by the college to receive the refund. No refunds are made after classes commence.

After conduct of personal interview round, IIM Jammu prepares a merit list to make final admission offers. The merit list is prepared based on the following criterias:

1. Work experience Letter and Relieving Letter is required for all the past organizations/companies the applicant has worked with. The certificate must be on the company letterhead with seal and signature of the competent authority.
2. Service certificate is required from the current organization's/company's letterhead & issued by an appropriate competent authority with the seal and signature for those presently working. In case, if a service certificate is not available, please provide the offer letter/Joining letter with a first-month payslip and payslip of the latest two (2) months. Please merge individual files into a single file and upload the same on the website.
3. Salary certificate from the bank is mandatory for candidates who have worked in the unorganized sector. The salary must be transferred from the firm's bank account to the employee's bank account.
4. Experience earned without salary, or with cash salary will not be considered.
5. In case the candidate is a proprietor or partner of a firm, the candidate has to provide the document proof such as the income tax for the relevant period and a certificate of registration for doing a business from the municipal corporation or appropriate authorities such as MSME certificate issued by Govt. of India, Udyog Aadhar Registration Certificate, Partnership deed of the firm duly signed by all partners and GST registration certificate.
