IIM Jammu BTech Eligibility and Highlights 2025
IIM Jammu offers a regular IITJ- IIMJ Dual Degree programme in Technology and Management. It is a BTech + MBA programme lasting six years. The initial four years of the programme are dedicated to a BTech degree from IIT Jammu, followed by the final two years of an MBA from IIM Jammu. However, candidates have the option to exit after completing their BTech.
IIM Jammu IITJ- IIMJ Dual Degree admission is based on the applicants' JEE Advanced score. Hence, as per the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria, candidates must have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths, and qualified JEE Main to be eligible for admission. Candidates who complete the four-year BTech programme with a minimum CGPA of 7 are eligible to be admitted to the MBA programme (without CAT).

The IIM Jammu BTech admission process begins with JEE Mains registration. The registration process for the first session of the exam usually starts in October. The hostel fees at IIM Jammu is as follows-

For BTech admission at IIM Jammu, candidates are required to apply via JEE Main by visiting the official NTA website. The JEE Main application process starts with registration, followed by form filling & uploading the documents and paying of application fees. After qualifying for JEE Main, aspirants must apply and appear for JEE Advanced.
2. IIM Jammu BTech Selection Process
Candidates who qualify in JEE Main and JEE Advanced are allocated seats through the subsequent counselling. While registering for the counselling, candidates must select the Dual Degree BTech + MBA programme jointly offered by IIT Jammu and IIM Jammu as their preferred course. After completing the four-year BTech programme, candidates with a CGPA of at least 7 are admitted directly to the MBA programme at IIM Jammu.

Candidates who are allotted seats for IIM Jammu courses are required to submit the applicable IIM Jammu fees. In addition to submitting the seat confirmation fee, shortlisted candidates must physically report to the campus with original copies of all the required documents.
