IIM Jammu BBA Eligibility & Highlights 2025
IIM Jammu offers a dual degree Integrated Program in Management (IPM) course. The course is offered for a duration of five years. The first three years of the programme are dedicated to BBA and the final two years are for an MBA. The integrated BBA + MBA course at IIM Jammu is a fully residential programme.
IIM Jammu BBA admission is based on valid Joint Integrated Program in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) scores. Candidates completing the three-year BBA course with a minimum CGPA of 6 can enroll in the flagship MBA course of IIM Jammu. Aspirants are also required to fulfil the below-given IIM Jammu IPM eligibility criteria:
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam in 2023/2024, or be appearing in 2025. They must have passed Class 10 or equivalent exam in the year 2020 or later
- They must have scored a minimum aggregate of 60% in Class 10 and 12 (55 % for the candidates from SC/ST/ PwD category)
- Applicants pursuing Class 12 from international schools affiliated to foreign boards like IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) and IB (International Baccalaureate) can also apply
IIM Jammu BBA Fees 2025
The fees for IIM Jammu courses include various components, such as the tuition fee, hostel fee, library fee, etc. The tuition fee is payable in semester-wise instalments. The IIM Jammu IPM fee is a cumulative of the BBA and MBA fees. As per the official website, the IIM Jammu BBA fee for the academic session 2025-2028 is INR 18.48 lakh. The fee for the last two years of the programme will be as per the prevailing IIM Jammu MBA fee structure (2028). Additionally, candidates must submit a refundable caution money of INR 20,000 along with the first-semester fee.

IIM Jammu admission is based on the CAT exam. Candidates need to visit the official website of CAT to register themselves. For the MBA programme students must qualify CAT exam and meet the IIM Jammu cutoff which is set by the institute. IIM Jammu IPM admission dates depend on the JIPMAT dates. The computer-based test is usually conducted in April every year. The application process for the same is conducted between February and March. The first-year of the programme usually commences in September every year. IIM Jammu offers admission primarily on the basis of the scores obtained in the national level entrance exams including CAT, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, JIPMAT, GATE, etc. To get admission to IIM Jammu, candidates must fulfil the course-specific eligibility. IIM Jammu cutoff 2024 is yet to be released soon after CAT 2024 results. IIM Jammu generally releases two types of cutoffs, the first is qualifying and the second is, the final cutoff for WAT/PI. As per the IIM Jammu CAT cutoff 2023, the final cutoff for WAT/PI stood at 90. Similarly, for 2022 and 2021, the final cutoff was the same at 90 percentiles. So, going with the trend, we can say that the final composite score cutoff in 2024 will not exceed the 95 percentile.

IIM Jammu BBA Admission 2025: How to Apply?
The IIM Jammu IMP admission process comprises multiple steps. The process starts with registering for the entrance exam, followed by the merit listing and admission confirmation. Candidates who satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria must follow the below-given process of IIM Jammu admission for the Integrated (BBA + MBA) course:
Step 1: IIM Jammu IPM Application Process
The first step is to apply and appear for the JIPMAT, the entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to the IPM at IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. Interested candidates must visit the exam portal on the official NTA website at https://exams.nta.ac.in/JIPMAT/. New users must complete the registration process before filling out the JIPMAT application form.
Step 2: IIM Jammu IPM Selection Process
IIM Jammu Integrated BBA admission is granted to applicants who clear the prescribed JIPMAT cut-off. A merit list of shortlisted candidates is released by the institute, which serves as the basis of seat allocation. The preparation of the merit list is based on the applicants' JIPMAT score and gender diversity. After completing the three-year BBA programme, candidates with a CGPA of at least 6 are admitted directly (without CAT) to the MBA programme at IIM Jammu.
Step 3: IIM Jammu IPM Admission Confirmation
Shortlisted candidates are sent admission offers by the institute. Such candidates must submit an offer acceptance amount of INR 50,000 within the stipulated date. This fee is later adjusted against the first semester fee. After the release of CAT results, the institute shortlists the candidate based on CAT scores, work experience, academic performance, and other factors. Admission to various courses is based on merit, written tests, personal interviews, and entrance exam scores.
For admission to IIM Jammu for the flagship MBA (or PGP) course, the result of CAT 2023 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 (If the CAT conducting body follows the trend as in 2022). However, if the trend is not followed, the same will most probably be out by the first week of January 2024. After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for IIM Jammu admission.
IIM Jammu BBA Curriculum
IIM Jammu's Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) comprises a three-year BBA and a two-year MBA. During the first three years, students learn the foundation-level concepts of Management, Accounting, Business, etc. During the final semester of the BBA programme, candidates can choose one of the six available electives. These electives include Marketing, Economics, Finance & Accounting, among others. Further, students must undertake a Social Internship and Business/Corporate Internship at the end of the thrid and the fourth semesters, respectively.

There are over 100 BBA seats at IIM Jammu. The exact batch size may vary yearly. Two-thirds of the total seats are gender-neutral and are allocated based on the JIPMAT merit. If these seats contain an optimal number of girls in various reservation categories, the remaining one-third seats are filled in a gender-neutral manner. Otherwise, the remaining one-third of seats are allocated as a combination of Supernumerary Girls (SNG) and Gender-Neutral seats, as applicable.

For admission to MBA (or PGP) 2026 batch at IIM Jammu, the CAT test will be conducted on November. Aspirants of IIM Jammu are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam will be held in three slots:
