JIPMAT 2026 Cutoff: IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu releases JIPMAT cutoff scores during the admission process. Participating institutes release cutoff scores as per the JIPMAT selection criteria. Q:   Which institutes consider JIPMAT cutoff for admissions?

JIPMAT exam is conducted for admission to IPM courses offered by IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. Both of these JIPMAT participating institutes prepares cutoff scores for admission. Candidates meeting the cutoff criteria as per the JIPMAT participating Iims are eligible to participate in the selection process. Eligible candidates as per the JIPMAT cutoff need to fill the Expression of Interest (EoI) by paying a certain amount. Candidates providing the EOI have to further accept the admission offer by the institute. The admission offer based on JIPMAT scores will have the fee mentioned to be paid for the course.

JIPMAT participating Iims will release the sectional cutoff scores to shortlist candidates for further admission process. The final admission criteria does not have a weightage for the sectional cutoff. Both IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya provide a weightage to the overall JIPMAT score, academic performance and gender of the candidate who pays the EOI fees. Those who do not meet the JIPMAT sectional cutoff scores are marked ineligible for payment of the EOI fees. Further, such candidates are not considered for evaluation under the final admission criteria.

JIPMAT cutoffs are only responsible to shortlist candidates for admission. Shortlisted candidates have to pay EOI fees to express their interest for the available seats. All candidates who pay the EOI fees are considered for the selection process. The IPM selection process at IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya may comprise the following parameters as per the revised admission policy: - Class 10 marks - Class 12 marks - JIPMAT scores - Candidate's gender Female candidates have an additional weightage while preparing the list of selected candidates. Q:   What is the process after JIPMAT results?

After the results are declared, NTA sends the scores to IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. Both institutes prepare separate merit lists based on JIPMAT scores and Class 10 and 12 performance.

Q:   Can I reappear for JIPMAT if I am not satisfied with the result? Is there any provision for the same?
A: 
No. JIPMAT is held once a year. Therefore, candidates cannot reappear for the exam. NTA will not conduct the JIPMAT exam again for any candidate under any circumstances. The JIPMAT score is valid for one year only. Candidates who are not satisfied with their performance can reappear in the next admission cycle. Besides the re-appear requests, NTA does not entertain any requests for re-evaluation or re-totalling of the answer sheet. If the candidates do not wish to skip an additional year, they can go for other BBA entrance exams, such as NPAT, IPMAT LUACMAT Lucknow University UGPET SNUSAT among others.
Q:   When will the JIPMAT result be announced?

The NTA declares the JIPMAT results within 30 days of the exam date.

Q:   What is JIPMAT answer key?
A: 
JIPMAT answer key is a document that provides the correct answers to questions that appeared during the online test. NTA issues the JIPMAT answer key that can be used by the test takers to check their answers and assess the performance before declaration of the results. Besides the test takers, JIPMAT answer key is used by NTA for assessment of the scores on a standardised scale. Candidates who took the exam are relieved of the result anxiety to an extent once they calculate their scores using the JIPMAT answer key. NTA releases the answer keys in two phases, initially the preliminary answer key is released. Candidates are allowed to raise objections against the same. Based on the challenges, subject matter experts draft a final answer key for JIPMAT exam. JIPMAT final answer key is used for calculation of the scores by NTA.

IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya has separate admission policy for IPM courses offered at the institute. In the previous sessions, JIPMAT participating Iims have considered Class 10 and 12 scores in the selection process along with the 60 per cent weightage for the JIPMAT scores. The IPM admission policy at IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya may or may not change with each session.
Q:   What is the mode for declaration of JIPMAT results?

The JIPMAT results are declared strictly in online mode. Candidates must check and download their scorecards from the official NTA website using their application number and date of birth.

Q:   Will there be a weightage for work experience in JIPMAT selection process?
A: 
No. There is no weightage for work experience in the JIPMAT selection process. IPM admissions in IM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya includes a weightage to JIPMAT scores and gender. In the previous sessions, JIPMAT participating Iims have provided a weightage to Class 10 scores, and Class 12 scores as well. However, with the change in the admission policy, Iims have shifted to providing more weightage to the JIPMAT exam scores. IIM Jammu is providing 95 per cent weightage to the JIPMAT scores. While, IIM Bodh Gaya is expected to provide 100 per cent weightage to the JIPMAT scores.
Q:   Can I show a digital copy of JIPMAT admit card at the exam centre?
A: 

No, candidates must carry a printed copy of the JIPMAT admit card to the exam centre. Candidates must print the admit card of JIPMAT exam as soon as NTA releases the same. No candidate is allowed inside the test centre without a hard copy of JIPMAT hall ticket.

Q:   Will JIPMAT answer key be available and its result be declared on the same day?

JIPMAT answer key is released in two phases. Initially, NTA releases the provisional answer key. Later a final answer key is released. NTA releases JIPMAT final answer key and result on the same day.

The final answer key of JIPMAT exam is released along with the declaration of results on the official website. NTA will use the JIPMAT final answer key to evaluate the performance of the candidate in the JIPMAT exam.
