However, IIM Udaipur does offers courses which doesn't requires CAT exam for admission. IM Udaipur offers a regular Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) for Working Executives, designed for building a solid foundation and deep understanding of Business Management. The duration of the programme is 24 months, i.e. two years.
The selection process for IIM Udaipur starts with qualifying CAT examination, followed by shortlisting of candidates for Personal Interview. Just like all IIM’s, Common Admission Process (CAP) is the process through which PI are done. And finally a Merit List is prepared based on the CAT score, PI score and Profile score. The criteria for preparing the merit list will be as follows: CAT Score*: 60%, Interview (PI): 15% and Profile: 25%.
Digital Product Management (DPM) and Senior Management Programme (SMP) are the two certification courses offered by IIM Udaipur. The eligibility criteria of DPM and SMP is bachelor’s/Master’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Work experience also comes under the criteria: for DPM minimum two years of experience in product management functions, or minimum five years of experience across any domain or function. Whereas, SMP requires a minimum of 10+ years of experience or, a minimum of 8+ years of experience with a Post Graduation.
According to the IIM Udaipur official website no new dates are available for the Executive MBA programme. As per the eligibility criteria of the Executive MBA programme a valid CAT, GMAT, GRE or IIMU Test scores is required, hence the candidates will be required to appear for the CAT, GMAT, GRE or IIMU Test. Since CAT, GMAT, GRE are common entrance exam for admission to MBA programme in most of the Management Schools its mandatory for every candidates to register for the exams by visiting the individual exams official website.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) is the best course offered by IIM Udaipur. IIM Udaipur offers a regular MBA programme, which is the flagship course offered at the institute. It is a full-time programme of two-year duration, divided into six terms. The programme is offered in six specialisations of Management and involves a compulsory internship at the end of the first year.The institute accepts GMAT, GMAT, GRE, etc. for admission to specific courses. Selection for MBA is done by preparing a Merit list which is based on CAT scores, Personal Interview and Profile.
