The overall campus of IIT Indore is safe with strict security for both girls and boys. IITI is well-known for its annual student initiatives and events. Hostel life at IIT Indore is one of the best in all the ITIs. Newly constructed hostel building in the permanent campus has a great infrastructure. Currently, the institute has six hostels out of which one is for female students and the other for married students. The hostel life is vibrant with 574 rooms each in 6 hostels. IITI also provides extracurricular activities with various clubs, fests, events and competitions.
The dates for JoSAA counselling 2026 choice filling will be announced once the result of JEE Main 2026 is declared. Candidates can fill choices only during the choice filling period. Also, candidates need to lock their choices before the last date.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent examination from the Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects and should have passed all five subjects in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) in 2025 or 2026. Note: Candidates from any other stream (Science without Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are also Eligibilie to apply. Candidates, who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2024 or earlier are NOT eligible. Qualifying Examinations: • Final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by a Central or State Board recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. • Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a Board or University recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (www.aiu.ac.in). • Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy. • Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects. • Any Public School, Board or University examination in India or a foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). • H.S.C. vocational examination. • In case the Class XII examination is not a public examination, the candidate must have already passed at least one public (Board or Pre-University) examination before appearing for UCEED.
