Review of IIT Indore - Indian Institute of Technology.
Placements: Roles offered are software engineer, software developer, tester, mechanical engineer, civil engineer, and many core jobs. Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Capgemini, Accenture, IBM, Wipro, etc. More than 90% of students get placed here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus, in hostels as well as classrooms. The library is fully equipped with a vast collection of books, and a system is also provided. Medical facilities are available here. A dietitian, physician, and gynaecologist are also present here.
Faculty: Faculty here are advanced because it is an IIT. Here, PhD students are very helpful to freshers and graduates. Semester exams are generally very strict here. The course curriculum is very relevant and future-based. Teaching quality is flawless. It is the best recommended college.
Other: It has every club, like sports clubs, dance clubs, fashion clubs, and NSS clubs. It is the best decision to join IIT.

B.Tech. in Space Sciences and Engineering - Batch of 2027

The college has good infrastructure and facilities with the most professional lecturers.
Placements: We are the first batch in our course. We are offered roles such as propulsion systems manager, satellite data analyst, etc., of positions given to us by the space companies. We are also offered government jobs under DRDO and ISRO, which are central government jobs.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are perfect. Food is the best here. Sports and games are amazing. Wi-Fi is not so good at our hostel. It is one of the drawbacks of my college. We have amazing labs at our college. We often visit KV to conduct our experiments.
Faculty: Exams are pretty tough. You need to be well prepared for the exams. I feel that the course curriculum feels more relevant from the 2nd year. I can't guarantee you that the college will make my batch of students industry-ready. Maybe we should opt for higher studies for better placements.
Other: Fluxus is the best event conducted in our college once a year. I wish we had more understanding and depth in our course.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027

Really good infrastructure and facilities I can say.
Placements: I guess around 70% of the students from my course (mechanical engineering) have already been placed and the rest are about to go. The highest and lowest packages would be 30 LPA and 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Nvidia, Texas Instruments, and L&T are the companies that will mostly recruit for this course. Again, around 40-60% will get internships from different companies including Amazon, Hackathon, Unstop, etc. Top role offered I say is design in this course.
Infrastructure: One of the best among all IITs and NITs in terms of infrastructure and facilities like Wi-Fi there will be 4-6 providers. There are different labs for each year. For 1st year, we have 2 labs and for 2nd year we have 5 labs. Classrooms are decently maintained. Library is really worth it for our study and research purposes. Quality of the food is okay. Hospital is there nearby hostels. Sports and games including volleyball, cricket, and badminton have their respective grounds.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in any way you need in terms of academics or boosting mental strength. The college will provide one of the professors to be our faculty advisor in the first itself. All teachers are qualified with their PhDs. Teaching quality is also good. Absolutely course curriculum is relevant to our industries also they will provide labs and projects for the students to make industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate or above. Pass percentage would be 90% and above.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in design. Best thing about the course might be the stress-free than the other courses. I wish the practical study to be improved. There will be events and fests like Lakshya, Fluxus, Shaurya, etc. Campus crowd is not as heavy as on other campuses. Connectivity will be there. Campus surroundings include a forest. Scholarship offering mail will come to the college mail they provide for us, that's it.

B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering - Batch of 2027
4.2

College has a good environment. Placements, infrastructure, and facilities are good.
Placements: My batch is the first chemical engineering batch (2023-27) in IIT Indore, so now I passed 2nd year so companies will start to come in July for internships. Many companies come on campus for placements like Google, Microsoft, EXL, Deloitte, TVS, Bharat Petroleum, Analog Devices, HP, GAIL, and many more companies to see more companies. You can visit on training and placements cell of IIT Indore website.
Infrastructure: There are separate labs and equipment established according to the course requirements with proper Wi-Fi availability. There are good classrooms in size and proper wooden benches. There are separate hostels for 1st year and 2nd year with double sharing rooms and 3rd, 4th year live in the same hostel. Good Wi-Fi is available in hostel room, and every day clean every unit properly. Hostels are best.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. You can share your personal or academic issues with them they understand and are mostly professors have Ph.D. scholars from foreign universities. But they are newly joined but good teachers. Course curriculum is relevant because course is designed according to the requirements of the chemical engineering sector. Pass percentage is almost 100%.
Other: I chose this course because it matched with my JEE rank. Interesting thing is that chemical engineering is mostly physical and chemistry relations. Events are good. Campus has around 3000 students and is good. But campus is beautiful in the rainy season. The campus has excellent infrastructure.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2026
4.8
5Placements5Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
This is the only IIT college where placement and infrastructure are both very good.
Placements: In IIT Indore, 95% of students got placed. In my electrical branch, more than 50% of students got placed with a 2-digit LPA package. The highest package was nearly 50 LPA from my branch last year. Top companies are Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, Goldman Sachs, etc. For electrical and electronics, top companies are NVIDIA, AMD, Snapdragon, Qualcomm, etc. These companies give more than 30 LPA. More than 70% of students got internships from college, and after doing their internships, PPOs are also offered. Top roles we get include chip research, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of IIT Indore is one of the best in India. Hostel of this college looks like a hotel. There is a common room for every 5 students. Every student of this college gets single from the first year. Although from this year, first-year students have to share a single room with one partner due to an increase in branches in B.Tech. Everything is here when it comes to the facility.
Faculty: Teachers are too helpful. In IIT Indore, all professors are well-qualified with an IIT degree. And they wrote many research papers which published in foreign universities like MIT, Oxford, etc. Course is not so relevant. In Civil, metallurgy branch has some subjects that are outdated. Due to many clubs where students personality enhances, students become industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. 80% of students pass every semester.
Other: I chose this course because I got into counselling. The best thing is in my course on embedded system thoughts, which the industry needs, and chip design companies are a basic requirement. I would say colleges have to improve internship facilities among core branches, students as electrical, civil, metallurgy, etc. There is a FLUXUS annual tech fest organized every year, which is the biggest fest in central India.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029

5Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Above 90% of students were placed last year. The highest package is above 90 LPA, and the average package is above 25 LPA. There are many recruiting companies. A big chunk of those companies is very successful and famous as well. A big percentage of students got internship even before completing their course.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious and comfortable. The library consists of over 10,000 books. Most of the Wi-Fi networks available are either Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 5, so they are pretty fast and cover pretty much the whole campus, making the campus very tech-friendly.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum, although not that relevant but is enjoyable if tried. Semester exams are pretty tough compared to the classes. Although the material provided is enough for the exams. Still, the exams seem pretty tough.
