IIT Indore PhD Eligibility & Highlights 2025
IIT Indore offers PhD courses across various specialisations. These specialisations are offered through various departments/schools/centres, such as the Department of Engineering, the Department of Science and the Department of Humanities & Social Science. Some IIT Indore PhD specialisations include Computer Science and Engineering, Economics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, etc.
Apart from this, the institute also offers two dual degree courses namely, MTech-PhD and MSc-PhD, where students studying in either of the PG courses can convert their respective courses into a dual degree in the third semester.
PhD admission at IIT Indore is based on the applicants' performance in the accepted entrance exams and the personal interview. The institute offers admission to PhD degrees under different categories, namely Fellowship Awardee, Teaching Assistantship, Sponsored without institute scholarship, Institute Staff, Defence Forces and College Teacher.
