No, candidates cannot join IIT Indore without taking an entrance exam. Admission to UG/PG courses at IIT Indore is based on national level entrance exams such as JEE MAIN, JEE Advanced, GATE. For BTech, admission is based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced, followed by counselling process. The minimum eligibility for admission at IITI is passing Class 12 with at least 75% aggregate marks. 

IIT Indore has been offering BTech courses for candidates possessing All India and Home State quotas. IIT Indore offers UG, PG, Dual Degrees and PhD courses in the streams of Engineering and Science. The institute provides full time specialisations in courses such as BTech, MTech, MS, MSc, and PhD.

At the UG level, programs include BTech in disciplines including Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering. IIT Indore MSc cutoff 2025 has been released across various specialisations in the form of opening and closing ranks. For the students belonging to the General AI quota, the IIT JAM first round closing ranks were between 46 and 370,  with M.Sc. in Biotechnology being the most competitive for admission. The lower the cutoff rank, the higher the competition for that course, and vice versa. IIT Indore JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the BTech course specialisations for all rounds and categories under the All India quota. For the General AI category, the last round cutoff ranged from 1628 to 11274. Therefore, it is possible to gain admission at IIT Indore (maybe not in the initial rounds but in the later rounds, as the cutoff increases).
