IMI Kolkata Course Admission 2026: Fee, Eligibility, Application (Open) & Selection Criteria

International Management Institute Kolkata accepts XAT/ CAT/ CMAT/ GMAT scores for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Management programme. IMI Kolkata XAT cutoff 2024 is yet to be released for the PGDM course. During the IMI Kolkata cutoff 2023, the XAT percentile stood at 70 for the General All India category student. So, considering the previous year's cutoff percentile, candidates seeking admission to the IMI Kolkata must secure 70 percentile or above in the case of the General category.  

The IMI Kolkata is an AICTE and NBA-approved school ranked 70th in NIRF's Top MBA Colleges in India offering its most popular course PGDM. It is quite hard to get into  International Management Institute Kolkata as it considers many entrance exams scores. CAT/XAT and CMAT scores are required for getting admission to the PGDM program. The final selection is based on the presentation followed by a personal interview after geeting good scores in any of these entrance exams. 

The IMI Kolkata XAT Cutoff 2024 was released for admission to the MBA/PGDM course for all categories under the All India quota. The marks and percentile will not be changed as there is no provision of rechecking or revaluation. To apply for PGDM in IMI Kolkata candidates first should be eligible for the programme. Secondly they must a have a valid CAT/XAT and CMAT scores. Candidates have to fill the online application form and submit it along with the non-refundable application fee and other required documents. Candidates will be shortlisted on the  basis of CAT/XAT and CMAT score. The shortlisted candidates are called for the Individual Assessment Process (Essay Writing and Personal Interview etc.). At last Admission offered will be made based on the selection process score. 

Yes, IMI Kolkata offers scholarship to meritorious and deserving students. All students whose family income is less than INR 8 lakh per annum are eligible for scholarships under the Economically Weaker Section. 

IMI Kolkata offers courses in Diploma and doctoral-level. The flagship course offered by the Institute is Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). PGDM is two years full-time programme with summer internship with Institute’s partners. In second year candisates can choose their interested specialisation : Finance, Economics, Operational Management, OBHR (Organisational Behaviour), Marketing, Management Information Systems & Analytics and Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Yes, IMI Kolkata does offer certificate course. Post Graduate Certificate in Financial Market (PGCFM) and Certificate Programme in Data Science is the two certificate in IMI Kolkata. PGCFM is an eleven months executive weekends programme which specialises in Financial Market. Whereas, Data Science covers a duration of seven months which specialises in intelligence data analysis. After completion of the courses students will be awarded with a professiinal certificate by the Institution. 

Yes, IMI Kolkata does offers doctoral-level course. IMI Kolkata offers a full-time doctoral-level programme called FPM (Fellow Program in Management). The purpose of the FPM programme is to provide scholars with an academic environment to question conventional thinking and expand their knowledge. To be eligible for admission to the FPM programme, candidates must have a first-class master's degree. Shortlisting for the programme is based on the research proposal and evaluation of past academic performance. The final selection will be determined through a personal interview after the presentation.
