Placements: 30 percent of the students got placed in many companies from our college. Some students go outside for higher studies and a few students start their own business. Their salary packages range from 2 LPA to 4 LPA. Internships are available. The top course at IIFD is fashion design.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connection works properly with a decent-speed network. Classrooms and labs are very clean. In the classrooms projectors are connected. The hostel and mess are clean. A variety of food is available in our canteen. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games are arranged for students.

Faculty: In IIFD, some teachers have 7 to 10 years of work experience. They are also ready to help us in any situation. They prepare students for any exam. Semester exams are easy. Just learn, work hard, and follow the teacher's guidelines.

Attended Lakme fashion week through IIFD - Worth it.

Placements: I am from Diploma Fashion Design batch 2025-26 already seeing batchmates land jobs and internships, which is exciting. Last year, the placement rate was 95 percent, which speaks for itself. College builds industry connections and supports students throughout. I feel very confident about placement from day one.

Infrastructure: The campus is well-equipped with AC classrooms, updated fashion labs with modern machines, a good library, and decent food. Wi-Fi works fine with very rare minor hiccups. No hostel for boys but the college is working on it. Getting here is easy, buses, and autos are readily available in Chandigarh.

Faculty: Teachers here are not just qualified, they have actually worked in the industry, and that difference every single day. I got to attend Lake Fashion Week Mumbai, April 2026, which was an unreal experience. Exams are competitive but fair. Would love more guest lectures, though that is my only suggestion.

Our college provides both study and enjoyment.

Placements: Our college helps students for placements, but it doesn't force them to attend placements training and jobs because some students want to establish their own business. I am one of them, so our college helps those students also. It also helped students for internships, but I am not interested in internships.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are highly air-conditioned here, and there are good labs and staff members. The hostel is available only for girls, so I don't know about it. There are no hostels for boys until now, and I don't know whether our college has started providing hostels for boys or not. There are very good staff members and space for every stream, which is helpful for students.

Faculty: Our college has highly helpful, co-operative and experienced teachers. They help students not only in their studies but also in other activities and personal projects which they do. After classes, they are always available for every student and even outside the institute.

Other: My family business is related to furnishing, so I have chosen this field. Events and activities are organised in a huge number, and they celebrate every festival.
