According to official sources, IIFT Kolkata concluded its placement drive for the year 2021-23 batch. As per the report, the highest domestic and international package (for overall placements of IIFT campuses) stood at INR 75.6 LPA and INR 85.4 LPA. Further, the average and median package offered during IIFT Kolkata placements 2023 was INR 29.1 LPA and INR 26.5 LPA, respectively. The total fee for MBA in International Business at IIFT Kolkata is INR 20.97 lakh. This fee is inclusive of components, namely tuition, library, internet, medical insurance, course material, hostel charges (for double occupancy, boarding charges, students and alumni activity. Here are some of the scholarships available for MBA students:
- Need Based Scholarship Scheme: Under this scheme, IIFT pays interest subsidy on educational loans for 27 months from the time the loan is taken from a bank. Students of the MBA (IB) full-time programme who have taken the loan and whose family income is less than INR 6.00 Lacs per year can apply under this scholarship.
- New Scholarship Scheme (NSS): This scholarship covers ten percent of students with a scholarship amounting to twenty percent (20%) of the tuition fee in all “Full-Time/Regular” batches of the degree courses offered by IIFT. The scholarship will be given to 10% of the students admitted in the regular programs. The scholarship amount will be 20% of the Tuition fee for all. The criteria would be a “means-cum-merit” basis with 70% weightage to means and 30% weightage to merit i.e. total CGPA scored after completion of the program. It will be granted to those students who complete their full-time programme from IIFT and whose family income from all sources is less than INR 8 Lacs per annum. The upper ceiling of INR 8 Lacs is subject to revision. The scholarship will be disbursed to the students after the successful completion of the programme i.e. MBA (IB), MBA (BA), and MA (Eco.). IPM students will get the scholarship after completing their BBA and MBA. If the amount of the scholarship is less, then the balance amount will be payable.

IIFT Kolkata MBA Admission 2025: How to Apply?
The IIFT Kolkata application process is carried out in online mode. The application fee is not refundable. Incomplete applications are not considered after the prescribed date. Candidates must make sure to share the correct and valid email address in the form as most of the intimations are given via mail by the Institute. From 2025, the institute will grant MBA course admission based on CAT score. Thus, the candidates are required to complete the CAT application process. Candidates are required to carry the below-mentioned documents when applying for IIFT Kolakata MBA admission:
- Filled in CV Form
- Attested copy of all academic mark sheets/certificates (Class 10, 12 & Graduation)

Indian Institute for Foreign Trade is a pioneer institute in the country to study Foreign Trade. A 90% attendance to all classes programme wise is required in the MBA IB (full time) course. The waiver of attendance is only provided in case of medical or other emergencies. Hence, The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) kolkata considers punctuality and attendance very important.
IIFT Kolkata offers a Master of Business Administration in International Business, which is a flagship program at the institute. The program is designed to cater to the requirements of aspiring international business executives and mid-career professionals. The MBA in International Business at IIFT Kolkata has a total intake of around 140 seats. The program is conducted at the IIFT Kolkata campus, which is spread over 7 acres of land and houses one academic block, an admin block, and two residential blocks for students and visiting faculty. The campus offers fully furnished accommodation for all students.
The final cutoffs for admission to the MBA-IB 2023-24 batch is not out yet. However, the final cutoffs for IIFT admission 2022 were released along with the final merit list in May 2022. Check the table below for category-wise final IIFT cut-offs 2022:

Some documents have to be submitted during form filling. These documents are required for verification purposes. Some of the important documents are further enlisted below:
- Filled in CV Form
- Attested copy of all academic mark sheets/certificates (Class 10, 12 & Graduation)
- Copy of all Passport pages having official entries
- CAT scorecard
- Two letters of recommendation. Preferably, one of these should be written by a current supervisor or manager
- The Indian nationals who are living, working, or studying abroad should produce with the application a certificate from the Indian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate of the country where the candidate is currently based, stating that the candidate has been resident in that country continuously for a period of not less than 18 months as on 31st December of the admission year
