I am satisfied with the placement and infrastructure, etc.

Placements: 90% students got placements during their placements programme. The highest package has crossed 50 LPA, the average package was 25-28 LPA, and the lowest package was below 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies that offered jobs are Deloitte, JP Morgan, Amazon, etc. Top roles are export-import manager, global supply chain manager, trade and policy consultant, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are also modern. Classrooms, library, and labs are also very good, and in every class, air conditioning and a projector are available. The quality of food is good. Hostel facilities are separate for boys and girls. Sports and recreation facilities are also available.

Faculty: There are highly experienced teachers in trade, economics, finance, and marketing. Teachers are well qualified and well-behaved with all students. The curriculum is industry-oriented with a focus on global trade and WTO regulations, etc. Semester exams are a little tough, and passing both exams (external and internal) is different.

I am dissatisfied with the nature of teachers and the infrastructure of classrooms.

Placements: There are some issues in internships and a placement cell. Companies come to our college but few students get selected for their interviews. They don't get the highest packages of above 5 LPA, and they don't give us top companies. Some students get placed in MNCs at the state level but not at the central level, which is disappointing in my college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connectivity and my department is not good. In labs, there are falls of air conditioning. In the labs, there are two laptops for PCs and they don't work. The library of my college is good or not excellent. The food available in my college is good. The food items and the menu of my college canteen are limited.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful but they don't take classes and they avoid teaching us. Teachers only want assignments and projects except for these things they don't give marks. Activities are going on in my college and the teachers don't teach like this, which makes students industry-ready. So semester exams are hard. The pass percentage of a student is about 75%. Teachers are qualified but not good in nature.

Other: Fests are not conducted in my college. The campus surroundings are good.

Best for Business education.

Placements: Around 80–90 percent of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered in our course was 75 LPA, and the average package was around 25 LPA. Top recruiters in our course were Accenture, Adani, HSBC, etc. The top roles offered in our course were business executive.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course were awesome. Wi-Fi facility was available in the hostel and campus. Modern computer labs and a central library were present. Hostel quality was also very good. A sports complex was also present, and medical facilities were available.

Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of our faculty members was extremely good. The course curriculum was relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester examinations depended upon students’ preparation. Around 85 percent of students passed the semester exam.

Placements: Top companies like JPMC, HSBC, and Godrej hire students from the college. It provides 100% placements and great mentorship from alumni. Students often find the case-based teaching method and project-oriented assessment quite engaging. Infrastructure: It is located in the business hub of Salt Lake. IIFT Kolkata campus is compact but well-equipped. It offers all essential facilities like a well-stocked library, computer labs, Bloomberg terminals, and high-speed internet. While it may not be a sprawling green campus like some other institutes, it makes up with efficient infrastructure and proximity to the city's commercial centers, which help students in terms of guest lectures, industry exposure, and live projects.

Higher grade college in Kolkata.

Placements: Campus students grabbed unimaginable offers which would be between 4.3 Lacs to 26.7 Lacs for an year. Also active support given for students who are planned to start new ventures in future. Most specially they initiated their support to entrepreneurs by giving some worthy contact cars.

Infrastructure: Campus located with the acres of ground which were more spacious and relaxing. All the juniors, Seniors were more friendly, supportive and encouraging like the teachers. And chances for ragging, harassment was literally zero percentage. Uninterrupted network connectivity inserted in the campus.

Faculty: Our college initiated diverse courses in multiple disciplines. Textbooks are provided by the college itself by collection some extra charges. Mostly we forced to take test in multiple choice questions thrice in a week. This tests the understanding capacity of the students.

Register and Apply
Interested candidates can apply online with required information.
Written Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for the written test conducted by the institute. Test is a multiple choice objective type written test (in English) of 120 minutes. It generally consists of questions covering English Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Quantitative Analysis.
Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GDPI)
Based on marks obtained in Written Test, candidates will be called for Writing Skills Assessment, GD and Interview.
Final Selection
Candidates are selected based on Written Test, Group Discussion, Writing Skills Assessment and Interview. The admission of Foreign Nationals/NRI Candidates is on the basis of GMAT score and interview. Shortlisted candidate would be required to undergo a Personal Interview at IIFT campus. Candidates called for this will have to make their own travel arrangements. In case they are not able to be physically present they would be interviewed through Skype.
