I am absolutely satisfied with college as it is worth money.
Placements: More than 80% of students get placements. The highest salary package is Rs.63,000 per month, the average salary package is Rs.35,000 per month, and the lowest salary package is Rs.20,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Apollo, Fortis, and Tata medical. More than 80% of students get internships at Tata medical and Apollo. HOD, HR, Floor head, etc., are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: We are provided with all the facilities like labs, fully air-conditioned classrooms, computer labs, and a library. Medical kit for labs is provided. Hostels are average and clean. Wi-Fi facilities, medical facilities, and extracurricular activities are provided.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and supportive. The course makes students industry-ready by preparing to appear for internship interviews. Semester exams are bit tough. So students have to study well. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to serve in the hospital sector. The best thing about this course is it's easy to get a job that everyone wants nowadays. Fest and all takes place accompanied by extracurricular activities.

I like this course and the college.
Placements: About 100% of students were placed in our course. The highest was 5 LPA and the lowest was 2 LPA. Around 80% of students got internships. They always keep us clean and safe and they take care of us very carefully. This course is very useful for anyone's career.
Infrastructure: At first, this is the clearest college in Salt Lake. The classroom is also very clean, the college provides us with Wi-Fi, and air-conditioners for all time. There are also many labs here. Our college has a very big playground and their foods are very good. The medical services are also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to the students in the classroom. They are very humble. Teachers are very intelligent. Semester exams are very difficult. About 100 is the pass percentage. The course is very useful for making a secure future. Teachers are awesome.
Other: I was interested in this course very much, so I chose it.

The college has one of the good campuses with excellent faculty members.
Placements: Students who are pursuing hotel management can do every job available in the hotels like chefs, housekeeping department, F&B department, front office department, etc. Placements are conducted by the top brands which are available until now are ITC, Hyatt, JW Marriott, Novotel, Lalit, The Oberoi.
Infrastructure: We are provided with various kinds of labs like production lab, computer lab, housekeeping lab, F&B lab, etc. The hygiene standard is at its best level. We are also provided with medical facilities. They make sure that we are participating in events, so they conduct many events.
Faculty: Our college has the best faculty members because they are polite to you and make you very comfortable. So even introvert students can ask questions without hesitation. They make sure that they are providing a perfect answer with proper guidance. Thus we are sure that we are getting the best guidance as all of our faculty members are well professional.

Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities available in the college for all the students to have best of knowledge and experience like Front office lab, F&B lab, food production lab ( Kitchen and bakery), housekeeping lab. Library where we can read books and issue them as well. I have not used the hostel as I have my house in Kolkata but as I have heard from my friends and classmates they said that the food is good and the hostel is also clean and comfortable.
Faculty: The faculty members of the Indian Institute of Hotel management are very much experienced and trained in their departments. They are very knowledgeable and highly qualified. Their teaching is very comfortable and easy. Yes, this course make students industry ready and is a perfect course.
Other: I choose this course because this is the second largest growing industry in the world and I wanted to become a hotelier and serve people. The best thing about this course is meeting new people, learning about this industry, gaining knowledge. There are a lot of fests and events happening all over the year starting from Independence Day, Teachers day, world tourism day, Durga Puja, Diwali, our college annual fest Carnival, Cake mixing festival, Christmas celebration, Saraswati Puja, Holi and many outreach programme as well like visiting the orphanage and old age home. These activities teach us to be more active, shows the leadership qualities and many more.

Review of IIHM Kolkata - Indian Institute of Hotel Management.
Placements: We have the opportunity to go abroad for an internship. IIHM India gives us placements as well as a career after the course. Even I was joined without any hesitation, and I would suggest this for all new upcoming students.
Infrastructure: Our course infrastructure is good. The college is very much familiar, and the best part of this college is our director mam MS Nabanita Kar is like a mother and our principal Mr DJ Goes. They both and faculty members are the biggest supporters.
Faculty: Teachers here are very friendly, helpful, and they are from the industry, so they have enough knowledge. They teach us in a very well manner and guide us perfectly. In our college, we have guests lecturers and special classes. It is a great opportunity to learn many things.
Other: IIHM Kolkata organised many events like freshers party, carnival, cake mixing and food fest, which were the big events. Many occasions are celebrated in our college. We had an educational tour in Goa, and our upcoming tour will be in Bangkok. Our college has helped me to get the best student's of the year and best in attendance.

Good college with 100% placement.
Placements: We are already sitting in interviews with the help of our college. They will give us 100% placement in good hotels & hospitals. Our seniors had already doing their job in super speciality hospitals. Those hospitals will give us minimum 10k salary with the facility of pf and all. We have done our internship from superspeciality hospital & five star hotels. Hotels pays 1k stipend but hospitals don't pay stypend. We had our internship of 6 months.
Infrastructure: We have classroom labs and a library also. The classrooms are air conditioned. Labs are also very good. Sometimes college arrange medical camps for students. College don't coffee sports & game facilities. We don't have cantene in college. Hostels room are very good in quality.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They support the students very much. They help us with notes and different types of books. Teaching quality is very good. They thought us with the help of internet also. I get indistry exposure in amri hospital mukundapur.
Other: There are many events like fest; food fest, medical camps. They don't provide any scholarships.

Good college, faculty, and excellent placements.
Placements: Indian Institute of Hotel Management has a very active placement cell headed by the principal of the college, Mr D J Goes. They provide good internship programmes around the country and abroad with big organizations such as The Marriott Group of Hotels, Oberoi Group, Lalit Group, Starwood, and many more. Most of the people doing 6-month internship get job offers from there interning companies if not, everyone is given a chance to sit for the in-college campus interviews. In the year 2017 batch, the placement percentage was at 97%, and all the campus interviews start from the 2nd year of 3-years course. The companies who come with job offers usually come with the job for the roles of guest service associates, management trainee and hotel operations trainee. The lowest salary offered last year was Rs. 1,60,347 per annum (Cost To Company) which is good for freshers.
Infrastructure: The college campus is located in the IT hub of Kolkata known as Salt Lake City, so it is easily accessible. The campus is modestly big and equipped with well-built air-conditioned classes and lecture rooms with projection screens for better understanding. The campus has four laboratories, a food and beverage production lab, which includes a basic kitchen and a bakery, a food and beverage service lab which is a modular bar cum restaurant to give the students a better understanding of F&B service. There is a front office lab which is a modular front office, it has a keen similarity to a hotel's lobby and reception to teach students of the front of the house-work.
Housekeeping lab is available which is a room filled with amenities and things that are found in a hotel room for students to understand and learn. The campus has a very good set of infrastructure for the college in this field.
Faculty: The faculty over here are qualified and experienced in the industry as well. The curriculum is very straight-forward as the institute follows the course of Annamalai University. In three years, the subjects are different each year as the first year has basics of the industry (operational area), the latter 2 years are about non-operational areas, and working of the hotel is taught with subjects such as accounts, human resource, marketing, tourism, etc.
Other: The college has its own fest which takes place in November. It also hosts many contests such as chef contest for new aspiring cooks and many more.
