In 2022, Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences (like all DU affiliated colleges) adopted CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses. Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences admission 2024 for UG courses (as per DU) will be through Common Seat Allocation System of the University of Delhi. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification.

After the COVID years and after the introduction of CUET UG and CUET PG for admission to Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and other DU-affiliated colleges, the application process has shifted full-time to the online mode. Candidates can register on the official websites of the respective exam, fill out the online application forms, pay the course-wise application fee and appear for the exam to become eligible. For final admission, shortlisted and pass-out students of CUET UG and CUET PG are required to register on the CSAS portal for final admission and seat allocation process.
