It is the best government college in UP.
Placements: IET is good at placements. Many companies approach our college for placements for the above 2 semesters in MCA. This year a company came with a salary package of 36 LPA, but no one cracked that company. A student from our batch got selected with a salary package of 7 LPA till now. We have a further 1 year to crack more companies.
Infrastructure: The hostel and mess are at their best level. You would like the food and also their services. The course is of 4 semesters, ad in the coronavirus era, we have completed each semester in 3-4 months. An offline exam and an online exam have been conducted until now.
Faculty: Teachers are not at the best level, but you can probably be satisfied with all teachers. Some teachers are very good at doubt clearance, and some of them are very good at giving assignments. Some courses are tough, and some courses are moderate. Still, teachers made them simple as they could.
Other: I have chosen this subject because an industry-orientated course gives a separate satisfaction. You can do your best in many practical-oriented courses.

It provides the perks of being a government college.
Placements: 30% of MCA students got placed on campus. All others also got placed within time through off-campus placements. The lowest package offered in MCA is 3.5 LPA, and the highest package is 7 LPA. TCS, Vector, Scalar, Condenation, Inventics, NextGen, etc., come here. 50% of students got internships in companies. Data analyst, web developer, and software engineer are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. We have labs with Wi-Fi connection, and they are spacious enough for students. The hostel rooms can be larger than the present ones. A dispensary is present near hostels. We get meals 4 times a day, starting from breakfast to dinner, with a good taste. Currently, a new sports court is under construction.
Faculty: Mostly, the teachers have their doctoral degrees. They are very kind and care about students' education, and that's the reason students of our college secure a high percentage of seats in exams like GATE and NET. The college also organises different educational workshops and training programs for everyone, which help us to be industry-ready.
Other: I was interested in making my career in the IT field, and MCA would be a great push in chasing my dream. The best thing about MCA is it can make a graduate from any stream ready for the IT industry, as every subject is taught from basics.

Infrastructure, facilities and placement in 2019 were good.
Placements: Almost 25% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 5.5 LPA, the average salary package offered is 4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Wipro, Accenture and Bajaj. Almost 25% of the students got an internship from our course in companies like TCS, Wipro and Accenture. Top roles offered are an assistant software developer and back-end developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi, library and labs are very good, but medical facilities and sports are not that good. Quality of food in the mess is of good quality, and canteen is also good. Hostel time is not that satisfying, and you have to come back to the hostel before 8 pm.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Quality of teaching is good, and you can easily understand the topic. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Teaching is good, and you can easily crack any exam related to your course. Teachers are always ready to help you, and they want you to be the best. Teachers ask you if they can help you by conducting seminars.
Other: The rating was good, so I have taken admission in this college. Events conducted here are very good. Wi-Fi connection is good, and you can easily learn online whatever you want to learn. Our college is very good at providing scholarships, and faculty members also work hard to provide scholarship to students.

    Taking admission in IET is a complete value for money.
    Placements: As the records 30 out of 60 students get placement. Teacher are co-operative and they help student in overall development of the student. Student have enough time for their overall development. As a state government institute it will provide good value for our time and money.
    Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs are updated. Labs are well furnished with I7 processes. Classrooms are not so much updated they are like 90s. Library is one of central library of India with the latest books. Wi-Fi are covered whole campus with high-speed of minimum 5mbps.
    Faculty: Faculty are very supportive and they are understanding. Teachers are qualified they help the students in overall development of the student. Curriculum is made on the base that the students are ready for the industry and they can face the workload of the industrial world.
    Other: I chose this course because I want to take the challenge after doing graduation in commerce.

    The best college in Lucknow to join.
    Placements: The placements are great at IET with most of the batch getting placed on the first day of the placement season. Companies of different standards visit our campus for placements. Most of the companies also give PPOs to the most promising students on the basis of their performance in internships.
    Infrastructure: The college is situated in Aliganj Lucknow, and there are facilities like high-speed Wi-Fi, playgrounds, and courts for badminton and tennis, etc., available here. The food offered in the mess is the best among all the colleges in Lucknow. There are many hostels available on the campus, and the rooms are allocated on 2,3,4 sharing bases. There are separate hostels available for boys and girls.
    Faculty: Our faculty members are highly experienced and qualified. They make the course look so easy by their interactive teaching style. The faculty to student ratio is 1:5, which helps teachers to spend more time with each and every student and solve their problems personally. The course curriculum is similar to other colleges in Lucknow.

    Review of Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET).
    Placements: Placements in our college are average. Companies visit our campus for placements. Around 20% of students got placed. The salary package offered ranges between 3.5-2 LPA. Companies like TCS, Gboxz, and Aqualite visited our campus for recruitment. There is a lack of proper training for an interview.
    Infrastructure: The college provides good Wi-fi facility with an average speed. Classrooms are well furnished. Many course books are available in the library. Medical facilities can be improved. Quality of food served in the canteen is pathetic and should be checked by authorized personnel. There is a shortage of sports equipment.
    Faculty: The course is of 2 years, and fees charged by the college is Rs. 50,000 per year. Most of the teachers in our college were helpful. Their teaching methods were excellent. The student to faculty ratio is 60:1.

    UPTU-life and career at risk.
    Placements: The placements at UPTU are luck based. There's no placement infrastructure. Individual colleges are given placements responsibilities that they do not fulfil. I won't say that the process is biased, as the process, per se, is non-existent. Instances of students being asked to pay a "nominal" fee for placement have also surfaced.
    Infrastructure: Infrastructure varies from college to college. Barring a few institutes, the infrastructure at UPTU is comparable to any government college in bad condition. Colleges do not have AC or coolers in classrooms or hostel rooms. The food is of marginal quality, and the living standard is bad.
    Faculty: The course is haphazard and breeds the concept of rote learning in students. There's virtually no learning, no assignments and no checks. Teachers are biased towards favourite students, and most of the teachers are under and unqualified for the job. UPTU has bad standards for faculty members.

    Average and government college of UPTU.
    Placements: Placements are normal of this college and approximate 60% of my seniors are selected from this college in top companies like Tcs, Infosys, etc. Average salary package of this college is approximate Rs.500000. Main recruiter of this college is Tcs. Main post of software engineers are recruited from this college. No internship is provided by this college.
    Infrastructure: All facilities like Wi-Fi, Labs, Classrooms, Library and different things are provided from this college. Quality of labs and classrooms are normal. Best food is available from the canteen. Every hostel have a seperate mess. Condition of hostel rooms is good.
    Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching skills is very good. The ratio of teachers and students is 1:60. No here is no industry exposure but the curriculum is very useful in industry exposure and also faculty is helpful for your placements.
    Other: Many events are organised in this college from college and also from many departments. Campus of this college is very broad and many extracurricular activities are performed in this college.

    Which programme is provided by the Department of Biotechnology?

    The Department of Biotechnology provides the MTech programme. M.Tech is a 2 year programme and has 4 semesters. It is a full time course and the oldest programmes given by the IET Lucknow. The department also provides PhD programme and has good facilties for all.

    Yes, there is a training and placement cell at the Institute of Engineering & Technology. The cell has a good placement record and also trains the students for placement drives. Plus, the college has seen the highest package of INR 54 LPA with the on campus placements.
