The applications for IIC that run simultaneously with DU registrations for postgraduate courses via CUET PG 2023 (for PG programmes) started on Mar 20 and were open till May 5. Interested students were able to apply online on the official website of CUET PG.
The CUET PG exam was scheduled to take place between held from June 5 to Jun 17, 2023, and the results were announced in Jul. Delhi University (affiliated university for Institute of Informatics and Communication) has also released the dates for the first, second and third DU PG CSAS Seat Allocation Lists which is Aug 17, Aug 25 and Sep 4, 2023, respectively.
CUET-PG 2023 application forms for the academic session 2023-2024 were out from March 20 by the examination conducting authority, NTA. Candidates were able to apply online on the CUET website starting from March 20 till April 19, 2023. Candidates were also able to edit the CUET-PG 2023 online application form if they made any mistakes while filling up the form. Application form correction window was open from April 20 and get close on April 23. While the results are out for CUET-PG for 2023, there are no updates as of now, when the exam will be taking place in the next academic year, i.e. 2024. In 2022, Institute of Informatics and Communication (like all DU affiliated colleges) adopted CUET PG exam for admission to its postgraduate courses. IIC admission 2024 for PG courses (as per DU) will be through Common Seat Allocation System of the University of Delhi. But, at first, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET-PG form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:
Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET PG exam, register on the DU PG CSAS portal in multiple phases.
Step 2: Submit IIC + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard. Here student must select their preferred course and college as the option.
Step 3: The University releases the dates for all categories.
Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the Institute of Informatics and Communication will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification.
Step 5: Once Institute of Informatics and Communication accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat.
No, there is no offline method of application at Institute of Informatics and Communication. All the candidates must apply through the centralised entrance exam's official website, i.e., the official websites of CUET PG exam.
