Q:   What is the age limit to apply for CUET PG examination?
A:

For appearing in the CUET PG examination there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the
bachelor degree/equivalent examination or appearing in 2026 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (PG) 2026
examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria of the University in which they are desirous of taking admission. 

As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs

MSc MathematicsBSc (Hons)/B A (Hons)/BSc/B A under 10 2 3 pattern securing a minimum of 50 percent marks in the aggregate considering all the three years of BSc/B A Courses). The candidate must have studied Mathematics Hons. or studied subject Mathematics in the all the three years at Graduate level. For BSc (Hons)/BSc only Science subjects and for BA (Hons)/B A all subjects except those subjects where only pass marks are required and which do not contribute to the total in the final (degree) mark sheet.

CUET PG Eligibility Criteria 2025 for Science Stream

There are a total number of 30 MSc courses that are being offered through the CUET PG 2025 exam. To meet the eligibility criteria to get admission in the CUET PG 2025 MSc Courses offered, aspirants must satisfy the below-mentioned requirements. 

CUET PG 2025 MSc Courses Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit And Qualifications

According to the CUET PG 2025 information brochure, there is no age limit for the candidates appearing in the exam. The candidates who have passed the bachelor's degree/equivalent examination or appearing in 2025 irrespective of their age can appear in master’s degree programs in the Central Universities through the CUET PG 2025 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfil the age criteria of the University to which they are desirous of taking admission.

CUET PG MSc Courses Eligibility Criteria 2025: Nationality

To get eligible for the CUET PG Exam for MSc Courses, aspirants must abide by the following citizenship rules:

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • A constituent subject of Nepal, Bhutan
  • A Tibetan refugee who landed in India before 1 January 1962 to make India their permanent home and reside there permanently.
  • Pakistanis, Burmese, Sri Lankans, Kenyans, Ugandans, Tanzanians, Zambians, Malawians, Zaireans, Ethiopians, and people from Vietnam who permanently moved to India.

  • Computational Physics: Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics and
    Mathematics is the main subject with 50% marks {45% in case of SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD} in
    aggregate from recognized Indian or foreign University.
  • Computational and Integrative Sciences: A minimum of 55% marks in a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering/ Computer Sciences or related allied areas. (All OBC category (non-creamy layer) candidates are eligible to 10% relaxation in the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination in relation to open category. The SC/ST and Person with Disability (PWD) candidates who have passed the qualifying examination irrespective of their percentage of

SCQP27 Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics & Computing, Data Science and Applied Statistics etc Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate of optional subjects with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects; OR with at least 55% of marks for those students who have done B.A. /B.Sc. (Hons) course in Maths / Statistics.
SCQP28 Zoology, Sericulture, Human Genetics A minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade in Bachelors/UG degree with Chemistry for MSc (Chemistry) / with Botany for MSc (Botany) / with Zoology for MSc (Zoology) as one of the subjects from a recognized University or an equivalent examination.
SCQP29 Atmospheric Science Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in any discipline of Science (with Physics as one of the core subjects)/Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for the general category and 45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS candidates.
SCQP30 Animal Science (Poultry) UR: 60% marks or equivalent OGPA in B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.Sc. (Honours) Agriculture/ B.Sc.(Zoology) Honours /B.F.Sc. / B.Sc. Fisheries
