About IDOL - Chandigarh University .
Placements: While IDOL Chandigarh University does not directly offer traditional MBA placement services as they provide online education, it does provide valuable resources and opportunities that can directly enhance your career aspects and build a strong network .
Infrastructure: Since the institute provides online education, most students study the programme from their home and within the programs, at an equal interval of months, there are regular PCP sessions that are conducted where we physically attend the class and the Wi-Fi labs, classrooms and library are world-class.
Faculty: The teacher and professors are well qualified and subject matter experts in their field. Their teaching quality is well recognized, and they are very knowledgeable considering the fact that the curriculum is very well prepared according to UGC standards; most exams are conducted online.
Other: I have done an MBA in finance from CU IDOL as a working professional and this is the best university programme available in India in online mode .

Honest review - CU IDOL B.Com.
Placements: As far as placements are concerned, I'm in the second year so much information was not provided but initially we were informed we would be provided placements during third year through an online portal - Optara. Just waiting for the next year to have more insights of placements.
Infrastructure: As I am a student who opted distance education the quality of education provided can be more better in terms of all the resources available. The Content provided is not as expected and does not provide much information regarding the topic. The online sessions conducted are on alternate days and irregular.
Faculty: We are provided with the entire content digitally on the Digivarsity app as well as offline SLM is also provided ( I haven't received it yet - it's delayed ). Without the completion of course we are provided with assignments along with deadlines in my case semester started in November and 20 December is the last date. We are not provided with much quality content and difficulty level of exams is moderate.
Other: There is no official group for Students to interact with the faculty directly, there is a telegram channel where information is shared where students are not permitted to send messages. Fees : Tuition Fees - 70000 + SLM ( offline ) - 4000 approximately.

Journey of online distance master program.
Learning Experience: The course is very well planned, with ample scope for students to learn effectively. It's run through learning management system wherein all form of interaction take place. The only limitation to this is it being online course, you might get late solutions to the questions raised.
Placements: My course unfortunately didn't have any option for placement. Therefore I am not the best person to talk on this. However considering how effective my course is, I think surely course like MBA etc will have good options for placement here
Faculty: Extremely professional faculty with intense knowledge over content being taught. They are approachable anytime with any of your queries. They are there for any guidance you might have.
Course Support: You will be provided with timely live lecture schedules, recorded versions of the same too. Additionally professors provide links to reading materials, videos or even their own recorded lectures other than regular classes. You will also receive e-learning material.

Good College, Good teachers and education support.
Placements: I'm currently student of Chandigarh University distance learning programme in the field of MBA in International Business. I will be passing out in 2023. The university claims to have helped in placement with a package of more than 7 LPA for distance students in big MNCs like Wipro, Infosys and more.
Infrastructure: Being a part of distance education, what I have observed is that they have very good teaching staff. Lectures are uploaded on regular basis. We have zoom meeting and recording which can be watched anytime. There are live lectures and doubt clearing sessions. MCQ based assignments and written assignment are given for practice. The only thing which I found irritating is delay in results which should improve.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. The overall teaching quality is good and easily understandable. Curriculum is relevant with current industry knowledge. Teacher’s explanation is done through the latest examples for better understanding. I am not sure about the pass percentage but exams and assignment do challenge you to learn and understand properly so you can easily clear the exams.
Other: Being a working professional, I chose this course. Through the course offered by the university, I am able to learn very well at my spare time and get the degree. I wish they had a better results announcement department as the results are really delayed. Results being declared way after start of new semester and still some technical issues due to which grades are not visible for most students and help is very slow.

Good structured and organised.
Placements: 90 percent off student were placed with a the highest of 36 LPA and the lowest being around 2.2 LPA.
There were big companies like microsoft, amazon, wipro etc. MNCs offering roles of software developer engineer data analyst front end back end developer and other roles and 70-80 percent got placed in my course.
Infrastructure: As its the CUIDOL distance education programme hence there doesn't need to be a hostel review but still there are programs like tour de campus which gives us distance learners to come to university and stay there in hostels until the programme is over with food and other facilities.
Faculty: The curriculum is pretty good and we have live classes on zoom also we have recorded lessons on our portal whose login credentials we get after admission and is a good overall experience. The semester exams were easy and the syllabus is the latest and updated we get like the c programming in from the first semester and the exams are easy too, if u studied and ready for exam that is. We have online exams and we are proctored and watched over so we don't cheat and have to submit in specified time only and also we are to send the exam we done to cu through parcel.
Other: I choose the course as I wanted to be a software developer and was interested in computer programming and wanted to learn own my own programming I knew I could so I went for the distance BCA
the one thing this course should improve is that the results are declared late and takes time in processing of our documents sometimes like we had exams in feb and haven't recieved the result yet in june
there are events like tour the campus and personal contact programme and many more .

Review of Chandigarh University (CU).
Placements: I am from the first batch of IDOL of CU, and there are no placements yet. They promised to provide placements for eligible students with good scores. You can go for off-campus placements as well, as it might get great opportunities.
Infrastructure: This is an online degree program, so there is no provision for a hostel. Being an online degree program, you can study within your comfort zone in your house having good internet connectivity and a quiet environment. It is time flexible, so you could study whenever you want and as fast or slow you want to go.
Faculty: Exams are online and proctored by AI, and they need your camera to be on. The curriculum is good and industry-oriented. The difficulty level of exams is moderate. Exams are conducted every semester. In between the semesters, they ask us for a few projects and assignments.
Other: A little improvement is needed in the course in terms of doubt-solving. The course is self-paced, and it is good for employed people.
