Department of Acting – A platform to give aspiring actors a jumpstart.
Placements: Almost 70% of students get placed in various fields of the television and film industry. Some are in the theatre industry. Packages range from Rs. 50,000 to 2 LPA. Assamese production houses recruit new actors. Every year, new students get involved in the industry as actors, cinematographers, scriptwriters, dancers, makeup artists, art directors, etc.
Infrastructure: The Acting Department provides a studio for drama with a 100-seat capacity. Editing studio, cameras, lenses, settings, properties, costumes, etc., are available. Digital boards are used for theory and film classes. Classrooms are good, and the environment is very calm for theatre activities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, skilled, experienced, and well-trained. They teach both theoretically and practically about theatre basics, history, and different lines. The students compete at the national level. Students become fully professional for industry work. Semester exams are not too hard. In every semester, there is a drama to be performed as a practical.
Other: I have a dream to work in the film industry and learn acting through a course. This is the only college in Assam where acting can be studied as a course under Gauhati University. I am now starting to work in the industry, and the course helps me a lot.

I am absolutely satisfied with this course.
Placements: Around 50 to 60% are placed. The highest salary package is 3 LPA and the lowest salary package is 1.5 LPA. Colgate, Patanjali, and many other companies are recruiting. Around 20% of students got internships. Last year many students got internships in the city centre.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are not so good. Hostel food is very bad but our canteen is not so bad. Medical facilities are free for the hostel students. Our basketball coach is very active in his work and our basketball team won more matches with other colleges.
Faculty: There are two types of exams in a semester. This course is curriculum relevant. Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Semester exams are not so difficult. The pass percentage is 90%. Around 20 to 30% of students got a very good CGPA.
Other: I chose this course to know the business ideas. Our campus surroundings are good.

I am satisfied with the college environment and good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements are the best at our college. Many MNC companies like TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture, etc. give PPO (Pre-placement Offers) to students in their final year. The average salary is increasing every year. The lowest offers range from 3 LPA to 4 LPA per year, with a 70% placement rate.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The labs and classes are cleaned regularly. The computer facilities are also good. Our college has air-conditioned labs as well. Besides that, the area of our college and the environment are also good. Trees and flowers are taken care of in the garden area. A canteen, a hostel, and sports are available.
Faculty: Our college has the best teachers. They are aware of our problems in academics and they solve them as friends. Our college provides us with the best college experience and opens doors of opportunity. Teachers are highly qualified. The exams are tough.
Other: I'm studying Bachelors in Physics, and I've chosen this course just because I know that the demand for this course is going to increase in the upcoming years. This course can help you be eligible for various government sector jobs.

It is a good college on a low budget. I am so lucky to get the chance to study here.
Placements: In our department, we don't have many students. So everyone gets a placement somewhere. It may be a company job or it may be a government job. Everyone gets their deserved placements. Many students from here get very great placements.
Infrastructure: We have required classrooms for everyone, along with a laboratory for experiments. In the hostel, we also have required rooms, along with dining. As a guide, we have a warden.
Faculty: Teachers of our department are very knowledgeable and also experienced. They give us proper education and notes to get good marks in our exams. Semester exams are neither tough nor easy. With the guidance of our teachers, we can qualify for any exam.

I love our college and hostel.
Placements: Around 70% of students in our department of Physics are under the college of Assam. The maximum salary package is approximately Rs.50,000 per month. No companies hire for this course and no top roles are offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Classroom quality and the lab are excellent and have a Wi-Fi connection, computer lab with all facilities in computer like python, Matlab, etc. A hostel with all facilities is available.
Faculty: Teaching quality is high where all teachers communicate freely with students. It is not difficult to attend semester exams. Teachers give very strict guidelines in the examination hall. The pass percentage all semester is very low which is only 30%.
Other: I opt for this course as I love Physics subject.

Absolutely satisfied and best.
Placements: The percentage is about 70. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are in the business sector. Students get internships at Guwahati University in Political Science and Alternative English. I hope this helps.
Infrastructure: In my college, most facilities are available, like Wi-Fi, labs, library, computer, medical facilities, sports and games. The quality of facilities in my hostel is good. The quality of food is also good and healthy, along with medical and others.
Faculty: Teachers are really reliable. They provide the knowledge we need. Their teaching is as good as ever. It makes lots of students ready for any kind of industry. The semester exams in college are medium, not hard or easy. The passing percentage is maybe around 80.
