Candidate must have passed minimum three-year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded or appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree to be awarded by any of the Universities recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least mentioned marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) or its equivalent.

Admission to Jankidevi Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JDBIMS) is primarily based on cutoff marks obtained by entrance exams, which include Common Admission Test (CAT), Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH-CET), or CMAT, among others, for each batch. Generally, students who look ahead to getting a seat at JDBIMS's MBA or PGDM should aim above 70-80 of the percentile in exams such as CAT or CMAT if they want to be in competitively. However, there can be a change each year in the final cut-off depending on the aptitude of the students joining and the number of seats available. They have a holistic assessment at the institute level. Entry scores, past academic experience, and sometimes work experiences or personal interview scores for final admissions.
