Average college for the average marks.
Placements: In my college, campus placements are so less. It is about 30-40%. It is also very hard. 30-40% got placed because they tried from the outside courses. They put more effort into getting placed. Before 2022, there were good placements, In 2023 and 2024, there were not good placements. The highest package in our department is 7 LPA. The lowest is 3.4 LPA. TCS is one of the companies which hire the most students.
Infrastructure: Good but not as the expected life like an engineering student wants. The campus gathered all the colleges in a little bit of area. Pharmacy, polytechnic, MBA, and MCA branches are in one building. There is no hostel service for boys. There is only a girls' hostel.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good at teaching and personal help also but not all the staff is good at teaching. Some faculty members give more effort to give knowledge to students but not all. Semester examinations are held very strictly. Exams are monitored and checked very well by faculty members. 85% to 90% is the passing percentage here.
Other: I think that it will be a very great life ahead if I choose the computer or its branches. The practical-based learning that should be provided by the college is very important. Industry-related courses should be provided.

Placements: 50% of students were placed in 2023.
10 LPA was the highest package for 5-6 students in the top company.

Canteen food is average. There should be more varieties and good taste for the canteen food.
There is a sports ground for the students for various sports and games.
There are also indoor sports like chess, carrom, etc.

Exams are so difficult in both college and university.
College conducts so many practicals and exams every week.
There is compulsory attendance every day.
Teachers give so many assignments for the semester internal marks and practical exams.
Other: The college hosts so many events. The surrounding area is good. The college should provide free internet on the campus

Enhance and grow with JSPM.
Placements: The course Is Information Technology; in this, the syllabus is provided by the SPPU university.
The placement is really better in IT depth than other departments.
The average package is 10 Lacs and minimum is 3.5 Lacs.
The students need to do internships and other courses.
Infrastructure: I am not living at the hostel.
The infrastructure is awesome, and Wi-Fi is also available. Classrooms and also labs are available.
Also, the ground is so huge for sports.
The lab has PCs and Wi-Fi systems that help to perform practical tasks and help to gain practical knowledge.
Faculty: Faculty are really good in JSPM.
They support and help the students to improve and grow in the college.
Passing percentage is minimum 75%, and for the placement too.
The criteria of the companies are informed to the students from the first year itself and help to grow their performance.

Good placements in the 2022.
Placements: I am 2022 batch pass out. Around 90% students from my batch got an offer from top tech recruiting companies. Talking about CTC offers our batch got the highest package in our department till date i. e.9lpa from a Bangalore based IT firm. Mostly bulk recruitment companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture visits to hire.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is good but the administration need to look after student demands while making teams for organizing cultural events. Library services should change according to student needs. Need to update the outdated curriculum .
Faculty: Teachers who taught us were god and qualified for the job, teaching quality is quite good and relevant to subjects. Faculty should focus on every student. Semester exams are well managed and arranged by management faculty.
Other: While current trend points towards new emerging technologies and as per trend IT industry is at boom and IT solutions is needed by administration and management also. Need to improve events organized. Need to support students during sports events and other occasions .

I am satisfied with the college. Best college for placements of IT and CS.
Placements: In IT almost 90% of the students were placed last year. The highest package was 8.5 LPA, the lowest was 2.5 LPA and the average being 4 LPA. TCS, Infosys, Capgemini and Accenture are the top recruiters. Almost 60% of students got on-campus internship.
Infrastructure: Our college has a huge campus. Wi-Fi is enabled all over the classrooms and library. The college has a huge library for students with an air conditioning system enabled. Hostel is available here only for girls. For boys there are many Private hostels available outside the college. There is a mess or canteen in the college which provides an average meal with reasonable price. There is a ground for sports.
Faculty: All teachers have completed at least Masters from a renowned University and many are pursuing Ph.D. also. For first year, the faculty is very good. They will guide you for academic as well as for non-academic problems. The teaching method is good. From 1st year, almost 90% of students got passed. It's very easy to pass in 1st year. I too passed with good marks just by studying a week before the exams.
Other: I have chosen IT because I am passionate about coding and new technologies. The best thing in IT is that there is less competition as compared to CS branch. There are many clubs available for students like Coders Club, Drone Club, IoT (Internet of Things), Cerebrospark: A startup by college students , Kalamandal for recreational activities, etc.

Review on Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering.
Placements: If we compare the college from a placement perspective this college has an increasing graph year over year. Around 19 LPA is the highest package in College. The average package is around 4 LPA. Most of the students got placed, if we compare in percentage around 80% of students got placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not extraordinary, it is just normal. But there are facilities of Wi-Fi, computer labs, library, etc., College has only a girl's hostel, there is no boy's hostel. The food available in the canteen is good. Overall it is average.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful and nice. Most of them completed their Masters and many of them have Ph.D. also, in short, they are highly qualified. But the teaching method is just average. Semester exams are not much difficult if you self study you can't depend on faculty.
Other: If your score is low then you can think about this college. This is just an average college. As it is costly is not value for money.

Best college in Pune - JSPM's Jayawantrao Sawant College of engineering.
Placements: I'm a student of IT branch (F. E). I chose IT because I love coding and I love to gain knowledge about new software. For IT branch the CET percentage required is 88 minimum for open caste this year. However, you can get it by management quota. For IT branch the placements are 90-100% as I know. The highest salary offered is 18 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. For IT department the highest is 16 lac. Many MNC's visit our college like Byju's, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, etc. Internship is offered to 60-70% students.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are available for studnets. Firstly the campus is very well managed and cleanliness is the key. Wi-Fi's are available in every single room in the college. A very maintained and peaceful library is provided for students. Hostel is provided for only girls here but, their are plenty of private hostels available just outside the college for boys, and the rent is averagely 1500 room, and 2000 for mess. A huge ground is there in college.
Faculty: Teachers are the best. Almost all of the teachers have done Masters in their respective field and many have Ph.D. degree as well. Many of the teachers are IITian. They will treat you like you are her own son, daughter. Their is also a Placement cell which makes students job ready.
Other: I chose IT because, I wanted to learn more deeply about computing techniques and I love coding. Their are many scholarship available in the college. Almost all of the studnets got scholarship. Crowd is comparatively less as compared to other colleges in main Pune city. Many events are organised in the college like Tech Manthan, Coding competition. Surrounding is very good for girls.

I am 100% satisfied with the college, and you should definitely choose this college.
Placements: My seniors told me that the placements are good in our college, around 70%. This year, 12 LPA was the highest package, and the lowest package was 3 LPA. Many MNCs visit here like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and many new start-up companies also visit here, around 150 companies. But the major recruiters are TCS and Infosys. Internships are provided in this college but only for selected students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the college. Hostels are only available for girls, and boys have to go for private hostels available in just around 200mts from college. A big ground is provided. The infrastructure is far better than any college. The college infrastructure is the best, and the campus environment is very good.
Faculty: The teachers are the best in this college. The teachers treat students like they are our actual parents. They make a lot of effort to make students good engineers. The teachers are very friendly, and almost all teachers have Master's and many have PhDs too. If you are from Maharashtra, you should definitely take admission in this college. I am also from Mumbai, but I took admission in this college because I had to enjoy the hostel life. I got 92% in CET.
Other: I chose IT because I want to make my future in coding. If you don't know coding, then also you can choose this college. I also don't know the basics because my main aim was NEET when I was in 12th, but teachers taught me Python so easily in this college. Just go for it.
