The applicant must have passed Class 12 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/OBC/OPH students). The eligible candidates must also appear for the NEET-UG exam held by NTA. In addition, the applicants must submit an application for the JIPMER MBBS course on the official website of the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) after the announcement of NEET results. Seat allotment is done subsequently during the counselling.
