- JSS Medical College admissions are now open for the academic year 2023-24. Students can go through the official website to apply.
- NEET UG Round 3 Seat Allotment has been released. Selected candidates must report to the institute between Sep 10, 2023 and Sep 18, 2023. Further, registrations for the NEET UG stray Vacancy Round will be held between Sep 21, 2023 and Sep 23, 2023. NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round Seat Allotment is expected to be released on Sep 26, 2023.

This year, the MCC has announced changes in the All India Quota (AIQ) Counselling process. There will be four rounds of counselling this year onwards, AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, Mop-up Round and an AIQ Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates will be allowed to register in the first three rounds and not in the final round. The option to upgrade and free exit will be allowed only in Round 1. After accepting the allotted seats, candidates will not be allowed to resign.Â

JSS Medical College, Mysuru offers several courses under UG and PG. The most popular courses are MSc and BSc. It also offers Super Speciality courses. For admission in UG, PG and Super Speciality courses, NEET UG, NEET PG and NEET SS exams are considered respectively.
The institute offers MBBS at the undergraduate level, MD/MS and PG Diploma in various specialisations at the postgraduate level and DM and MCh at the doctorate level. JSS Medical College also offers PhD and fellowship programmes to its students.

JSS Medical College, Mysuru UG Admission 2023: MBBS, BOT, BSc
JSS Medical College, Mysuru offers MBBS, BOT and BSc at the under-graduate level. MBBS is offered for 4.5 years of duration with 1-year compulsory rotating internship.
- All the MBBS seats, including NRI/Management Quota seats, are allotted only by merit under the state quota through counselling conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA)
- The course duration of BOT is 4 years and for BSc Allied Science courses, it is 3 years
Selection Process (MBBS): Selection for MBBS is done on the basis of NEET UG score. The merit list is prepared for all the categories based on candidates’ scores in NEET UG. Candidates who clear the cut-off score set by the college will be called for the admission process.

For admission in MPhil, there shall be an independent Department of Clinical Psychology, headed by a qualified clinical psychologist in the institute/ university.
For admission to PhD courses, candidates can apply twice a year to the Registrar, RGUHS, in April-May and October-November. After passing the criteria, candidates will have to appear for an interview and make a presentation of PhD protocol with/without their guide before the committee. Selected candidates will be referred to the Vice-Chancellor for provisional registration.
