Placements: Almost 80% students are placed. The highest is about 23 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and the average is 10 LPA. The top companies are Swiggy, Google, Infosys, etc. Almost 70-80% students get internships from this course, roles like business manager, accountant, sales marketing were offered.

Infrastructure: Hostels are well built, and all facilities are there, like a gym, a canteen, football turf, cricket nets, a swimming pool, etc. The food in the canteen is quite good in terms of taste and hygiene. Medical facilities are also quite good, the labs are also good, and the library is quite nice.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified in their respective fields, and the quality of teaching is quite good. It helps us to understand the concept quickly, and the course makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult in college.

A clear and precise review of 2025 batch.

Placements: Few students got placed from this course. TCS and Accenture are the companies visiting for this course. 20% students got internship from this course. The average package would be around 3 LPA. Data analyst and data engineer are the top job roles among this course.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are very big. The library is vast and contains lots of books. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Hostels are quite premium. There are 3-4 mess are available. Sports outdoor track is present on the campus and indoor games are played inside the gymkhana.

Faculty: Teachers are quite knowledgeable. Many are Ph.D. holders or have completed NET/SET. They taught us the concept clearly. The course is according to the current job market. Semester exams are built to be difficult at the start, but afterwards are easy. 80% of students passed this course.

Other: B.Sc. Maths taught us the basics and roots of Maths, are applied in higher studies. There are plenty of events happening every month. Campus life is amazing, to say the least, 10 mins walk from Vidyavihar Station.

All about Somaiya Micro Depth.

Placements: The college doesn't provide placement; we have to approach companies and for internship. At B.Sc. level, the package would be minimum, but at M.Sc. level, it is okay, and the avg package would be around 12 to 15 lac per annum depending on the job and the company.

Infrastructure: The campus is huge enough, but the college infrastructure is not satisfactory as the rooms are small and too congested. There is no network facilities for students and all over the college jammers are installed. Labs doesn't have that much advanced instruments as per the syllabus. Hostel is good enough. Canteen has a good taste in food, majorly the Polytechnic canteen; it is at moderate pricing.

Faculty: The teachers are not that experienced, and the syllabus is not so well structured according to the recent trends and development in technology and industrial field. The semester exam are moderate but it might be difficult due to vast portion. Subject is including old techniques which are not even used today.

Other: The syllabus needs to be made better, lab should be more equipped with instruments, students should be feed up for project works etc.

Placements: The highest package offered in K J Somaiya is 58 LPA, and the average package ranges from 4-5 LPA. I am a 1st-year student. I don't have full information about it. As far as I know, K J Somaiya provides good placements to its students and it is a good college to rely on.

Infrastructure: The quality of facilities K J Somaiya provides is mind-blowing with a good infrastructure. K J Somaiya is known for its infrastructure. Wi-Fi is available for students to use. The library is good and it has machines in which we can use our ID and scan any books. Classrooms are well-maintained with good acoustics. Facilities in the hostel and mess food are really good and delicious, and I have tried it many times. The college has a different building for sports that is Eklavya in which there are a variety of sports.

Faculty: Teachers in K J Somaiya are very well-qualified. They all are doctorates in particular subjects. Teachers are very helpful and very supportive. The teaching quality is very good compared to other colleges. The semester exam's difficulty level depends on whether students are paying attention in the lectures or attending lectures or not. The pass percentage is 35%.

Other: I chose this course because physics is a branch of science that we use in our lives. It is an important part of our nature. I found my interest in Physics, so I chose it. The best thing about my course is that it is not overcrowded. It is very underrated because of its difficulty. K J Somaiya is well known for its fests and events. Different celebrities come to events.

Faculty: Teachers are professional and helpful. If you are confused about a topic, you can ask them and they'll help you. They are also supportive of newcomers. The only reason I reduced two stars is that sometimes teachers are not present in the classroom for lectures.

Other: If you want a cheerful college life with good facilities, I think KJ Somaiya is the right option for you. The campus is huge with greenery and sports areas, and the fests are amazing.
