Overall satisfied with the academics and the placements.

Placements: Around 70 to 75 percentage of students got placed in the ECE department last year. We were just behind CSE department where around 80 percentage of students got placed. The highest package was 7LPA to a student who got placed in an core company. The average package is around 4LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college has very good infrastructure, it has all the Facilities for the students like a large library with lots of foreign author collections, a large multipurpose indoor stadium, gym facilities, a cricket ground, basketball ground, Wi-Fi facilities throughout the campus. The hostel facilities are also very good with sports, gym, library and recreational halls. The mess food is hygienic and taste is decent.

Faculty: All the staffs in ECE department are very experienced. The average experience age is 12 to 15 years in our department. The course curriculum is also very relevant to the application basis and makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are tough but can be passed if studied throughout the year. The pass percentage is around 60.

Other: I went for ECE due to increase of IT sector and growth in the VLSI technology. Many fests are conducted throughout the year, like sports day, annual culturals, symposiums, workshop, etc.

It is a very good engineering college with good placements in Madurai.

Placements: There is not a high placement percentage in our course compared to other courses. The placement percentage of our course is 50%. Many students got placed in the IT field. Very few students got placed in the core sector. Top recruiting companies are Zoho and Infosys. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top roles offered are assistant and software developer.

Infrastructure: Our department has a separate block. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The hostel is good with good hygienic food. It has a good mess, a gym, a library, and a television room. All classrooms are good.

Faculty: All teachers are experienced and always help students with their learning and doubts. They are very highly qualified. The curriculum is a bit relevant to practical application since it is an autonomous college. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 70%.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in electronics. Our campus conducts fests like cultural fests, sports, symposiums, etc.

Fully satisfied, good infrastructure and faculty and good placements in every year.

Placements: Placements were good for my batch 2010-2014. On-Campus and off-campus recruitments are arranged by the college placement cell. Referral interviews are also conducted by senior batch from various companies and start-ups. The highest salary offered in my batch was 5.6 lakhs per annum. The average was 3.2 lakhs per annum and the lowest was 2.2 lakhs per annum. TCS is the first MNC that every year conducts the interview on the first day of the interview schedule. Later on, companies like CTS, Tech Mahindra, Comm Vault Systems, Athena Health, TVS Sri Chakra Ltd., Brodcomm, CSS Corp, Data Pattern, Mphasis came for campus interview. Also, the students are encouraged to write Business Certificates Exam(BEC), AMCAT test, eLitmus test for better placement opportunities in MNCs.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure facilities with a huge number of books available in the main library. Separate libraries are available for each department. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Computer labs, Mechanical and Automobile labs, R&D labs are there with well-equipped machines. The college also got approval and funds for research projects from AICTE and NBA. The campus has one hospital along with a doctor available. Emergency ambulances are also available in the college. We have a huge ground for various sports activities. Football and cricket are the main sports in the college. The college also has a big indoor stadium for indoor games like shuttle, table tennis, carrom, and chess. The labs and classrooms are equipped with LCD projectors, enough chairs, tables, and fans. The college also has more than 4 generators for uninterrupted power supply. There are two canteens in the college and a xerox shop is also there. The quality of the food is really good and the items are of reasonable prices. For both boys and girls, hostels are available inside the campus and have 24 hrs security. The campus is fully monitored with CCTV camera. The hostel rooms are new and good. The college bus facilities are available for various places in the city for transportation to the college. The government buses are also available for transportation to the college.

Faculty: In all departments, faculty members are well-educated. Most of them have done their masters and are doing research works. We can see each department staff's details, their qualification and experience details on the college website (www.klnce.edu). The lab assistants are very helpful and friendly. They are also well-qualified, trained and knowledgeable. Most of the staff members practice their own methods and well-known strategies for teaching. The subjects are clearly explained and demos are displayed on LCD Projectors. Few department HODs are well-known authors of various subject text books. The subject curriculum is designed by Anna University Chennai and the same will be followed in the college also. The average ratio of students to faculty is 30:1. The college has MOUs with various industries for students exposure to industry practices. The course curriculum is useful for studies and placements.

Other: KLNCE has a reputed name in and around Madurai. It has good infrastructure and ambiance. The placements are really good. There is no ragging issue in the college and it is strictly prohibited. First year and other year students have separate college timings to avoid those issues. The complaint boxes are placed at various places inside the campus. There is a temple inside the campus.

Dissatisfied in sports because no person train the students.

Placements: 30 Percentage have placed in my course. 20k is the highest package,10k the lowest package,15k is average package. TCL is the top recruiting company in our college, I don't know because I am not interested in this section. Mechanical department is the best department in our college.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good for college and hostel but for limited time only. Using time 7am to 11pm. Labs and classroom is clean, Library is good, and also if you want any book, take it but return in one month.

Faculty: Some of the teachers are bad, because don't know English, but some teachers are good because very are well in all type of things, Some of the teachers teaching quality is very bad because the worst teaching method and some of the teachers teaching quality is okay.
