Decent Infrastructure, Competent Faculty, and Practical Curriculum

Placements: A college with no placement support can leave students struggling to secure jobs after graduation. Without a structured placement program, students face increased competition and must rely on personal efforts, internships, and networking to find employment opportunities.

Infrastructure: The college offers basic infrastructure, including well-ventilated classrooms, a library with moderate resources, a computer lab, and sports facilities. There are limited Wi-Fi zones and basic canteen services, but the campus lacks modern amenities and essential facilities.

Faculty: The faculty for my course is knowledgeable, consisting of both experienced professors and young educators. The curriculum is well-structured, covering core and elective subjects in statistics. Exams are fair, focusing on both theoretical understanding and practical applications.

The admission process is too boring, so take admission at your own risk.

Placements: The placement rate at the college is low. The minimum package is INR 2 lacs, or a maximum of INR 4 lacs. Nearly 20–30% of students get placement at our college. The students have preferred to get admission to the university college, not this college, because of the behavior of the college staff and teachers.

Infrastructure: The library is available for study at any time, and all books are available in the library. The Wi-Fi faculty is used only for college teachers and staff. In the hostel, the mess was good, but the rooms were not very comfortable. The sports are held on the grounds of the college, and sports teachers are helpful.

Faculty: The teachers of the college are well qualified, and the teaching staff is very knowledgeable and strong. The teachers at the college are not supportive. They do not require students to develop. The secondary exam is not too difficult; it is intermediate level but not too easy.

I am absolutely satisfied with the quality of education and good placements in 2022.

Placements: Our college provides quality education with placements at top IT companies. I was enrolled in B.Sc. in Statistics. About 70% of students were hired by Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and other IT companies. The highest salary package offered in 2022 was 7.5 LPA, and the minimum was 3.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are great with more than 50 PCs. Wi-Fi is easily available to each person. There is a special section for statistics in the college library, with many UG and PG books in special and updated editions. The hostel is on the college campus itself, which helps us to save time. The quality and maintenance of the hostel are good. The food quality is excellent. One major problem with the hostel is that there is no canteen in the hostel.

Faculty: Staff members here are good enough. Most of them completed their Ph.D.s in their specialisations which give them deep knowledge to provide quality education to students. The college conducts exams semester-wise. They look at the overall personality development of students along with their studies, which helps them easily crack any interview and makes them perfect for the government or IT sectors. The college is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). It maintains the quality of examinations, and the syllabus is quite tough.

Other: I chose B.Sc. in Statistics because there is huge scope in the private and government sectors for data analysts, data scientists, data engineers, statisticians, etc.

It is a college with great placements and guidance.

Placements: Nearly 10-20 companies visit our college. In 2021, TCS offered for IT graduate trainee and BPS trainee role with a salary package of 2 LPA. Cognizant offered role of programmer trainee with a salary package of 2.5 LPA -2.8 LPA. Infosys offered role as OPS executive for B.Sc graduates with a salary package of 2.2 LPA. Datamatics for Data entry and dot net, PHP developer trainee roles are offered with a salary package around 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Indus analytical offered 3 LPA - 5 LPA for an industrial marketing role. Topper ed for content writing offered around 2.4 LPA, Aurobindo Pharma offered Rs. 12,000 - Rs. 13,000 stipend for a chemical apprentice trainee role and ICICI Bank for sales role offered Rs. 10,000- Rs. 15,000 per month and also some local pharma and marketing companies offered various internships. I got placed in Cognizant, TCS, and Datamatics. But very few like 50-70 students got placements. I suggest if you want to do B.Sc then do it in statistics as the main subject because this college provides most placements to B.Sc stat course.

Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are very good. The college campus is very fascinating especially the boat club area. When you are bored or want to fresh your mind just go to the KTHM boat club, and you will feel good. The ground is very big and is the best college if you are a sportsman. The canteen is good, but the worst part is that it doesn't serve non-vegetarian food, but still provides hygienic food. College also provides Wi-Fi.

Faculty: Most teachers are Ph.D. holders from class 1 institutions like IITs, NITs, BHU, SPPU, Anna University, etc. Teachers are very friendly. They help students with further guidance like entrance exams, placements, etc. The course grants from SPPU so it has fewer fee charges. Exams are from Pune University.
