Placements: In the first year of forensic science, there are total 350 students. The highest package is 20 LPA. The roles that are offered after pursuing the course forensic science are investigating offers and also can be hired as the crime scene reporter.

Infrastructure: The facilities that are available in the hostel are breakfast, lunch, and dinner including labs and all other essentials. The installation of Wi-Fi is done in every room. The food quality is average. All the canteens are very neat and clean.

Faculty: Students appreciate the knowledgeable and supportive faculty members who employ effective teaching methods. Curriculum is designed to be industry-oriented, aiming to equip students with practical skills relevant to their fields. However, some students feel that curriculum could benefit from incorporating more interactive sessions and considering student feedback.

Other: Sandip University offers really a top-notch education to everyone in every field of the college. The best events are held at Sandip University. Every well-known event of Sandip University is Sandip Uthsov, and the well-known event of the forensic department is Meraki which plays a very great role in describing the importance of forensics.

Sandip University has good placements, excellent infrastructure, and the best faculty in Maharashtra

Placements: For the 2024 batch, there are 300+ students in Sandip University for B.Sc. Forensic Science. This year, placements are good, with about 95% of students placed by the university. Some are securing government jobs in Sandip, and others have been placed in CBI, FSL in different regions like Delhi and Gujarat, as well as CSFLS at various locations in India.

Infrastructure: The college has made a nice investment and offers a lot of fun, with a total of 200+ acres of campus. There are about 5-6 canteens, and facilities for cricket, football, kabaddi, basketball, and other sports are available for students to enjoy. The college labs are new and equipped with all the necessary tools for forensic science. In each lab, there are 25 students, allowing professors to interact with everyone. The labs are not overcrowded and feature new technology, including smart boards and good equipment, with all chemicals present in the lab.

Faculty: The teachers in the forensic department are highly qualified, with some having experience working with Gujarat and Mumbai police on murder and rape cases, and now serving as professors at Sandip. The curriculum aligns with the new Indian educational standards, and other subjects are also included besides forensic studies. There are clubs for better placement and experience, and students can earn certificates by participating in clubs like the cybersecurity club, helping club, management club, and event coordinators club. The seminar exams are neither too difficult nor too easy; if a student studies, they can earn their degree without any backlogs.

Other: In B.Sc. Forensic Science, each batch consists of 70 students, and the university has a well-equipped School of Science building. The classrooms are new and feature advanced facilities for the forensic department. Every month, there are events related to forensic science, along with various student activities like Sandip Uthsav and Ganpati Garba. These events include competitions such as makeup artist contests and fashion shows, where students can participate and win prizes and certificates. Our batch even created a fake crime scene video and won 3rd prize in Maharashtra.

Really good infrastructure.

Placements: The college is great, the campus is great, the teachers and teaching methods are top notch, and the methods of teaching are also very neat. Overall experience is great. The placement cell is very helpful; they help you with the placement at your desired FSL or CFSL.

Infrastructure: Hostel food is average, as some students have found bugs and stuff in the canteen food. But overall campus experience is great. The hostel is also good. The college is trying to make a difference in the hostel food as it varies from person to person and their liking.

Faculty: The pass percentage is 45 percent. The curriculum is great, and the teachers are highly educated. We also have fun interactive sessions and conferences to help gain more and more knowledge about our field of forensic science. The teachers are also very helpful.
