I got placed in this college via JEXPO exam, college is well good.
Placements: 80% of students get placed in this college. Minim package offered in 2 Lacs/annum to 6 Lacs/annum. Top recruiting companies are wipro, dxc, flipkart, JSW steel and etc. Many students grt internship via college and get Certificate and money also from companies.
Infrastructure: In this college only girl hostel is available. No boys hostel available. Boys need to stay in PG or Mess. Library is available and labs are well good and effective. College give free Wi-Fi to students and teachers. Equal food are available in hostel canteen.
Faculty: In this college teachers are well good qualified and knowledgeable and have good experience in teaching line from long years. Yes courses are relevant and it make students industry ready. Yes, semester exams are difficult but if you do good preparation then you can score good marks.
Other: Scholarship available.

The college is being improved, and some of the faculty must be replaced.
Placements: In our college, students who got ranks between 10,000-20,000 in JEXPO exam get admission here. At present, the highest package offered is Rs.3 Lacs, and the lowest package is Rs. 1.92 Lacs. LTI, Wipro, Mahindra, etc., come here. 4-5 students got selected for Subros. Assistant engineer roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available with a speed of 5 Mbps. Labs are poorly maintained. The classroom are average. The library is good and is open on given dates. There is no boys' hostel in our institute, only a girls' hostel is available in our institute. There is no canteen in our institute. There is a hospital near our college.
Faculty: The teachers are not much helpful. Some of the faculty are qualified, but not all of them. The teaching quality is average, but now, it is improving. It is a good place for students to get industry-ready. Exams are moderately difficult, and 33% is the pass percentage.
Other: I wanted to study something related to computers, and I love multimedia and animation. Better and new equipment must be provided, and more enthusiastic teachers must be recruited for practicals. There are cultural fests, fresher's party, a sports day and Saraswati puja held on our campus, but due to covid, the college isn't conducting any event now.

Our college provides good facilities.
Placements: Placements provided in our college are good but the salary offered is not good which is Rs.15,000 per month. Top placements are provided in our course. The stipend offered in internships is Rs.2,000 per month. Placements for civil engineering are not good in this college.
Infrastructure: Girls' hostel is available in our college. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library are available in our college. It has a playground and a doctor is also available. Classrooms are sufficient for 60 students.
Faculty: Teachers are available for computer science and technology but there are no teachers for civil engineering.
Other: It is not a good college for civil engineering but electronics and telecommunication and computer science and technology are good. I recommend students to take admission in computer science and technology. Our college offers 3 courses such as computer science and technology, civil engineering, and electronic and telecommunication.

Review of Kalna Polytechnic College.
Placements: This college is for middle-class families. Almost 100% of students got placed in our course. The average salary offered was Rs.5,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs.4,500 per month. The highest salary offered was Rs.25,000 per month. Around 100% of students got internships in companies like Asian Paint, L&T, etc. Top roles are also offered in our course.
Infrastructure: It is a government college. It has Autocad laboratory, and classrooms are properly maintained. It also provides a decent library. Government hostels are available only for girls. The food quality is good at reasonable price. Annual sports events are conducted. Games like cricket are also played among teachers and students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, friendly, qualified, and knowledgeable. Few of them are Ph.D. scholars. The course curriculum makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are conducted by the West Bengal State Council so exams are difficult. The pass percentage is good.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be a good civil engineer. The best thing about this course is that we can make buildings. Our college should maintain punctuality and discipline. Fests, social events, Viswakarma Puja, and Saraswati Puja are conducted in our college. All qualified students are eligible for scholarships.
