Study practically with a friendly natured campus.

Placements: In 2017, around 78 % of students got placed in reputed industries. Now around 93% got placed. 20% students are studying post graduate on part time basis with the guidance of HOD. The packages range from 1.5LPA to 3.8LPA. LGB Pvt. Ltd, MICROPRESITION pvt. Ltd. and IT companies are hiring students of mechanical engineering in the campus. Some students have gotten placed for the post of head of quality in some companies.

Infrastructure: Laboratories are well-equipped with fully operational conditions and calibrated regularly by the external experts. The classrooms are digitally connected with projectors. Wi-Fi is available with restrictions. Library is available for holidays also. In Digitalized library system, we can study additional courses in online. In hostel, Wi-Fi is available without any restriction with. 24*7 basis. Weekly thrice non-veg is provided in the hostel. A separate gym is available in thte hostel. All the outdoor sports like volleyball, basketball, cricket, football and hockey have separate grounds. A huge indoor stadium is available with 4-badminton courts. A gym is available for both boys and girls. Indoor games are there with the experts.

Faculty: An autonomous curriculum is followed by the organisation. The syllabus is set by industrial persons for the purpose of reducing gap between the Industry with the students. In mechanical department, 5 staffs are PhDs and 4 staffs are pursuing their PhDs. 7 staffs have industry experience from different disciplines.

Other: Special placement training is conducted for the 3rd and final year students by the experts in HR department. Recently, the college has received an award from the government for being a socially responsible institute.

It has poor placements, faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are totally poor in our college. If you study IT or CSE courses then you may expect few placement opportunities in the college. But if you choose mechanical engineering then there are no placement offers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was above average. Lab facility was fine. But you can't expect high-quality infrastructure here. Wi-Fi is below par. The library was good. Sports and games facility was below average. The canteen was good here.

Faculty: Faculty members are fine. Professors are highly talented. But nowadays college management is recruiting new staff only for a low salary. The new staff is lagging in the experience. So I would not recommend joining this college. Education quality is below par. The pass percentage is nearly 60%.

Other: This college gave a poor experience.

Placements: 1) About 100 members out of 162 got placement in my class. Some goes for government exam preparation and few for banking exam. 2) In-case of core job, the highest salary offered is 20000 per month. 3)Top recruiting company is Infosys and Rain industry. 4)Mostly all prefer Infosys IT jobs as it has huge package. 5) The lowest salary package is 10000 and the highest salary package is 20000 was offered to our course. 6)The biggest company where we got internship is Reliance petrol in Mumbai, Tvs sri chakra, Government Bus depots, etc.

Infrastructure: 1) Free Wi-Fi at 100 Mbps and continuous pure drinking water supply. Classrooms are good. Library has many additional books to gain more knowledge. 2) The quality of food in canteen is good. But in hostel it is not that much good. Medical facilities are good and nurse will be available all time. Sports are the best in my college. We have won many trophies in all sports especially cricket and badminton. There is a special badminton court in college.

Faculty: 1)Teachers are very good. Mechanical teachers are very young and they make good lecture and creates fun too. Its very good to have such type of teacher. We can talk with them like friend. They create friendly environment. Especially I like Selvan sir (but he is not working there now) and HOD Senthil sir. 2) In the final year they ask us to go for an internship, inplant training.

Other: 1) I chose mechanical because it is my interest from my childhood. I used to repair toy cars when I was kid. Then slowly as I grow, I thought it would be better for me to choose this mechanical. And also its a Royal department. 2) I suggest them to be autonomous and teach pure mechanical because anna university portions are made for both mechanical and management subject with equal importance. I don't like that management because it is completely waste of time to study that. 3) We can go to any college symposium, events. College will be happy for that. They also encourage us to go. In the college also there are many clubs, events where we can show our talents. They offer free fees for those who get 190+/200 cutoff. Campus surrounding is go green. Its wonderful atmosphere as it is outer of Madurai.

The faculty members are okay but they have to improve and the placements are decent.

Placements: Kamaraj college of engineering and technology provides good placements. The average package is around five Lacs and people get placed accordingly. The placements are good in computer Science and IT departments compared to the other departments. Students GOT internships in various companies like Larsen, TVS etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in Kamaraj college of engineering and technology is good. The labs are well furnished and there are separate labs for every departments. The Wi-Fi facilities are available throughout the campus and the library is decent. The hostel facilities are good.

Faculty: The faculty members in Kamaraj college of engineering and technology are capable and they handle the students accordingly. Although some faculty members are not good it depends on the behavior of the students. The syllabus is affiliated to Anna University Chennai.

Other: Different events are conducted and the tests are not much focused. It is not that famous when it comes to tests. There is a annual day function Every year.

Infrastructure: The architecture of our college is very beautiful. Proper maintenance is done. Mineral water facility is available in the college. The infrastructure of the college is very good.

Our college is very good in every ways. Good surroundings, good placements.

Placements: Our college has a good placement of students at various companies. IT department has the maximum placements and Civil has the least. In our mechanical department, placement is good. Also, many are selected by reputed companies. The average annual package is 3 Lacs. Companies like mahindra takes students in large quantities. We also have a placement cell and it is excellently organized.

Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi connectivity at every corners. Also, we have the best labs and classrooms are well aerated. Our library is really huge and we have photocopying facilities too. Our classroom is at good condition and canteen food is really tasty. We also have hostel facilities and our hostellers say hostel facilities are great. We have a good infrastructure.

Faculty: The teachers are experienced and they help us anytime. There are many teachers with a Ph.D. degree and methods of teaching like multimedia, PowerPoint, seminars, charts are used. Also, teachers in hostel are ready to guide us 24/7. We have a student to faculty ratio at 15:1. we have frequent industrial visits too. The overall teaching methodology is excellent.

Other: We have culturals, sports day and the preparations for it are outstanding. We have a green surrounding and extra curricular activities like NCC NSS and 20+ clubs are available.

A college with some good and best things.

Placements: The placements for circuit branches are good when compared to the core mechanical and civil engineering, only tire 3 companies attend for campus drives for core branches. Placement team is trying to expand in the core branches too, will be coming up with new companies in the mere future.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fine, the new buildings have good and recent technologies. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled with 45 Mbps speed. The labs have all the facilities that are used for research purpose and possess all the equipments. They have a dispensary for the first aid purpose with two nurses present. And, a doctor visits the campus daily in a periodic time. They have a separate building for indoor games and also have courts for volleyball, basketball, badminton, tennis, football, and cricket. Food in the canteen is okay, not too great not too bad. Hostel rooms are good, have separate bathrooms. Separate hostels for boys and girls. Overall, I can give 3.5 out of 5 to it.

Faculty: The faculty members are friendly and are very helpful. They will be much supportive in all walks of life and have the best knowledge. They even use the projectors and PPTs to teach and give the best of their knowledge. We get to go for industrial visits twice a year, i.e., once a semester. The course curriculum followed is of Anna University. All the faculty members are well qualified, and some are holding doctorate. Overall, the teachers are good.

The main facts to know about my college.

Placements: IT companies visit the campus for placements. Core companies for the mechanical branch are rare. The projects are important to get placed. The placement cell is good as they are working for placements. Mr Azar is good for placement-related works. The training and development cell plays the main role to get the students placed on the campus placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is good, and still, it is developing. The hostel facilities are okay, but the priority is always given to girls hostel. Boys hostel is a backlog. They only concentrate on girls hostels. The departments also see partiality. The facilities are good, and the labs are good.

Faculty: The staff members are good at teaching. They are well-educated and well-experienced in teaching, and they train the students well. They are helpful in guiding the students for projects. The lab technician is also good at helping. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1. The mechanical staff members are good.
