Review of Kannur Dental College.
Placements: Our batch consists of 100 students who got admission through the NEET entrance exam. The fee is a little higher comparatively. BDS has a good scope all over the world.
Infrastructure: Good playground with basketball court. There are food facilities all around the college. Mess food is also good with delivery service. Each room is well with 4 people per room. Good food and accommodation are provided. Hostel service is good. The place is average and it is an integrated campus.
Faculty: Teaching is average. This course is one of the difficult courses. More practicals than medical. The pass percentage is 50%. If you fail one exam you will be wasting your 6 months again. University is not that approachable. There is a very bad system of communication between the university and students.
Other: Campus life is good but academics are average. There are so many events on the campus. This is the best plus point. Scholarships are also provided. All other activities are also promoted such as arts and sports. Intercollege fests are also there.

Placements in 2012 were good.
Placements: Students get placed under different good and fine working managements with decent and attractive salaries. They are efficient in clinical practice because of the exposure provided at the college. Around 70% of the students got placed under well-managed government sectors.
Infrastructure: Facilities are average or below average. Labs and classrooms are good to go with. The library provided is being exploited very well by most of the students. Hostel facilities are average, but the food provided does not match with the hostel mess fee.
Faculty: Teachers are good at what they teach. They tend to uplift students by finding out the best-suited branch in them that they can opt for. They are well-mannered and work around the year. Semester exams are hard to pass.
Other: Events and fests are good and memorable for a lifetime.

I am satisfied with our faculty members, and our college has good infrastructure.
Placements: After completion of this course, you can work in dental clinics or do post-graduation or even resort to research fields.
Infrastructure: All labs and clinics are well-equipped. All departments have Wi-Fi facilities. Our college has an excellent library. There are separate hostels for girls and boys with all amenities. Our college has a basketball court, badminton courts, and a huge ground where football and cricket matches are conducted frequently on campus. Our college has a canteen and hospital. There are many hostels outside of our college.
Faculty: All teachers are doctorates. They are well-qualified. Their teaching quality and interactive skills are good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is good.
Other: There are around 98 students in our batch. Our course fee for the merit category is 2.65 LPA and for other categories, it ranges between 3 LPA - 5 LPA.
