My best part of my life started in college.

Placements: In the M.A. Psychology course at KMV, placements depend a lot on individual skills and interest areas. While core psychology roles may not provide mass placements like technical fields. Many students did get opportunities in counseling, teaching, or internships at mental health centers. A few also prepared for competitive exams or went for higher studies like M.Phil or Ph.D. Internships were usually available in hospitals, NGOs, or with psychologists, which helped in building practical knowledge.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of KMV was quite good. Classrooms were well-organized and had a calm atmosphere for studying. Campus had strong Wi-Fi connectivity. The library was peaceful with a wide collection of psychology books and research materials. The environment was clean and disciplined. The mess food was vegetarian but hygienic and better than many other colleges. College also provided a safe and comfortable space for female students.

Faculty: Faculty members in the psychology department were well-qualified and very supportive. They explained everything from the basics, and were always open to solving doubts. The curriculum was updated and included all the necessary subjects like clinical psychology, research methods, counseling, and practical applications. Classes were interactive, and students also got to work on case studies and projects. Exams were manageable if you were regular with studies passing was not tough, but to score high marks, consistent preparation was needed.

The overall ambience of the college is very good.

Placements: Interviews are conducted for placements in the college for our batch in the areas of organisational set-up, clinical set-up and for counselling in the schools. Interested students got evaluated and placed.

Infrastructure: The department of psychology has well-equipped laboratories, and it has the latest apparatus and revised test material along with manuals. The library of the college has an internet facility for the department students to read e-books and study recent journals.

Faculty: Faculty members of our department are well-versed about the subject. They have in-depth knowledge about the subject which makes students clear the concepts and help them enjoy the study even better. They feel motivated to work harder. The syllabus is discussed thoroughly in the class, and recent studies are quoted while teaching.

Other: I have chosen this course because I always wanted to work in this field and build my life. I suggest our college administration to work more on the contents of the syllabus and include more relevant topics. It is important for students of masters to write research papers. It should be a part of the curriculum, and the overall evaluation should be based on the practical relevance of the research paper.

The college promises us with intellectual power and cognitive strength by polishing our personality.

Placements: The course constituted to 10 students. Several workshops were organised in collaboration with Eotvos Lorand University Hungary. It provides opportunities for internships with renowned psychological institutions. Several students were interviewed for jobs as industrial psychologists in various multinational companies.

Infrastructure: The college has green-lush grounds with a well-equipped medical clinic. It ensures the cleanliness on the campus. The canteen serves freshly cooked food observing all the necessary cleanliness measures. The hostel has a homely atmosphere, and the mess serves quality food to the students.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are endeavour to uphold the balance between the curriculum and the co-curriculum pursuits. All the subjects are properly covered in four semesters so that students can pursue their careers in any of the sub-fields of psychology.
