KSOU Fee Structure

KSOU is a state public Open University and was established by the act of the State Legislature in 1992, and was brought into force on 1st June 1996. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university is also approved by the DEC and AICTE (for MBA courses). It has a total of five schools namely The School of Humanities, The School of Social Sciences, The School of Commerce & Management, The School of Sciences, and The School of Education.
After the online document verification, KSOU sends approval to the eligible applicants. Such applicants must confirm their admission by submitting the first-year fee for BCom at KSOU. This includes the first-year tuition fee, admission fee, security deposit, etc. The amount of fee payable at admission is INR 8,900. The first-year fee for BPL Holders (Women), Defense & Ex-servicemen, Auto/Cab Drivers & their families, KSRTC/ BMTC/KKRTC staff is INR 8,290.
