Good faculty, better course material and even better ambience. The best choice I would say.

Placements: There are no placements for the architecture department generally. After course completion, the student has to go out in search of jobs as a junior architect or as an interior architect as per their choice and practice the same at least for a year under an already established architect. Once a particular period of practice is done and the registration with COA is over, you can have your own firm and practice.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is average, but the facilities provided are satisfactory and one of the best for architecture education in the city. The standards have been increasing with time and I believe will be at par with other reputed colleges in metros soon. Since the department is a part of the university and not an independent institution, the infrastructure and the facilities have been shared among a huge number.

Faculty: The faculty of the institution is why it has been in the limelight all these years in spite of being a new one. Faculty members here are great minds from different parts of the nation, with an expertise in various fields and excellent teaching skills. They believe in a practical way of learning and never leave a stone unturned in attaining the best results and more precisely development of the student.

Other: If you are planning to join the institution, I would say it is the best option in Coimbatore. The location of the college makes it even better, great connectivity spanning wide highways close by and bus services. The campus is another attraction with state of the art installments been done. Architecture is also one of the best courses of the institution and so the administration also takes extra efforts to provide the best.

The college and infrastructure is good. Need a little improvised teaching quality.

Placements: 1. 80 2. The highest - 1,50,000 Lacs/month The lowest - 10,000/month Average - 30,000/month 3. No campus interview 4. Senior architect, associate architect 5. The highest - 2 Lacs/year Average - 1.5 Lacs/year 6. 100% Karpagam University is the only college in Tamil Nadu with no donation and good infrastructure and faculty members for architecture. The college is less strict compared to other colleges.

Infrastructure: The architecture department in Karpagam University has hush green spaces which brings in cool air and cools the environment around us. The department has its own open-air theatre which is used for events, functions, lectures and seminars. The hostel food is always good and to be honest it will not be like home food.

Faculty: The teachers are brilliant and helps in all aspects in architecture. Even though they are handling different subjects, they will help with everything related to architecture. The teaching quality is average. Yes, it changes each year or they shuffle or give different projects for each year.

Other: I want to be called a professional rather than called an engineer. If our course had campus interview it would be really helpful. Every year, our college sends students to symposiums and conduct symposium of its own.

Improvements are done frequently in infrastructure.

Placements: There is no campus interview for architects. We will have to look ourselves for placement. My seniors who had passed out from here are well placed. The lowest of stipend received during internship was 1000 INR, while a maximum of 8,000. Few places require us to pay for accommodation and food.

Infrastructure: The entrance is good enough to give a good feel. A Wi-Fi speed of 100 mbps was assured by the management. But we never got Wi-Fi for us. It was only for faculty members. Regarding computer labs, there is always a complaint of mouses getting lost. Students who are innocent are forced to pay for it.

Faculty: Few staffs are excellent in guiding us. Teaching quality is far better compared to other colleges in Coimbatore surrounding. Student : faculty ratio is 20:1 which is a good ratio. B.Arch was completely full-time course, whereas M.Arch is available as part-time.

Other: The campus is located between Palghat - Salem and Pollachi-Mettupalayam.
