SRM Ramapuram is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute is accredited by (National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with A+ Grade. At the postgraduate level, SRM College Ramapuram provides MTech, MBA,  M.Arch, and other courses to students. At the udergraduate level, the university offers BTech,  BDes,  B.Arch, and other courses to students. SRM Ramapuram conducts a counselling process for the allocation of BTech seats. Students who satisfy the eligibility criteria are shortlisted for this process. Further, they are ranked based on their performance in the entrance test (JEE Main/SRMJEE). These ranks are further used for the distribution of BTech seats. 

Yes, SRM Ramapuram accept the JEE Mains score. Candidates who have not given the entrance exams conducted by the university such as SRMJEEE (UG), SRMJEEE (PG) and can get admission through the JEE Main score, Moreover, apart from entrance exams, candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for admissions. Further, the final admission process include seat allotment through an e-Counselling process.

SRM Ramapuram admission 2025 are expected to open soon. The university offers UG, PG and Diploma programmes across Engineering, Management, Architecture, etc. Admission to some courses is merit-based while for others, selection is done based on the entrance exam. Students who wish to apply via JEE Main must know that the JEE Main tentative dates for sessions 1 and 2 have been announced by the NTA. As per the announcement, session 1 exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in January and the second session in April.

SRM Ramapuram MBA application fees can be paid in two modes. The first option is to pay online while filling out the application form. The second option is to pay offline by sending a Demand Draft to the university's admission office. The application fee in both cases is the same, i.e., INR 1,100.
