Karpagam Institute of Technology provides a peaceful environment. The infrastructure is also good.
Placements: 100% were placed. The highest package is 6 Lacs per annum and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, CTS, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys, Zoho, and Moon Raft etc., almost 90% of students got internships in companies like Moon Raft, CTS, Wipro, TCS etc., System Engineer, Assistant Software Engineer, Power Programmer etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was really good and wi-fi facilities are available in the college as well as in the hostel. The library contains many books which are very useful for the students. The rooms in our hostel are very good and the quality of food available in the mess and canteen is also good.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching ability is appreciable. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. The Semester exam is conducted by Anna University as Karpagam Institute of Technology is affiliated with Anna University. The question paper is a little tough.
Other: I chose the CSE course because I wanted to make myself innovative.

The college has good placements, but the infrastructure is not up to the mark.
Placements: When compared to my senior batch, our batch had got more placement offers. Around 85% of the students get placed, and out of that 35% got placed in top MNC companies. The highest salary offered is 6.5 LPA, the average is around 2.5 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. The companies like CTS, Amazon, Cigitel, Inautix, Tech Mahindra, Infoview, Zoho, Global Edge, Odessa, etc., visited our campus for placements. Only 2 got an internship from IT and CSE department. The stipend offered is about 12-16K per month in an internship. We have placement cell, and our staff members are the in-charges of the entire college, so we had more opportunities when compared to another department.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility on the campus. The classrooms are normal. The library has only less adequate books. There is no exposure to industry and its requirements. There is no medical facility on the campus. Sports participation is purely based on our interests. The quality of labs is good, but they are without exposure to technologies. The labs are not much useful for us. The quality of food offered in the canteen is low. Overall, the infrastructure is poor.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, but the only thing is syllabus is outdated, so they teach out of that. There is a good faculty team with good teaching methods. The student to faculty ratio is 45:1. There is no industry exposure. Anna University regulation 2008 is the curriculum used by our college, but we passed out at 2016, which is eight years outdated, so we are not able to learn about the current demand of technology in the industry.
Other: Every year, the cultural fest named Varnam is conducted on the campus. The placement offer distribution and department function are held once a year. The campus is outside the Coimbatore city. There is no scholarship from the management side.

The review of Karpagam Institute of Technology.
Placements: Average placements are there in our college. The placement activities also less. They give importance to academics events and not for technical events. The companies like Wipro, Infosys, Zoho, Amazon are the recruiters of our college. Wipro and Infosys are the companies who take a number of students.
Infrastructure: Our college has low infrastructure and has no auditorium facility. The hostel bathrooms are damaged, and rooms are not good. The lab facilities are a few and classrooms have more light, and are airy. The campus buildings are located in a small surrounding area.
Faculty: The faculty are good, but if the faculty are good and experienced they will be shifted to Karpagam College of Engineering and Karpagam University. New staffs are selected to the college, and the syllabus is old, and the books are available to the students in the college itself.
Other: Varnam is an event that is celebrated in the worst manner and not management will not provide more funds for this event.

Absolutely satisfied with the college, but the only con of the college is infrastructure.
Placements: The placements are very good on the campus, and the management is most aware of receiving MNCs for the recruitment of students. But the companies are for CSE, IT and ECE departments and to say frankly other than the mentioned departments other departments doesn't have any companies for their recruitment. We have an annoying placement officer till somedays and the management are curious in watching his behaviour, and now we have a very good and the coolest ever placement officer looking for a dramatic success in the college placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the only desirable con in the college, as it has a very bad infrastructure. Though the college has lab facilities in a full-fledged way, those are not up to the mark, and no one is going to be interested in using those facilities only because of that atmosphere.
Faculty: The faculty members of the college are talented, experienced, and focusing on enhancing the talent of the students in both academic and innovative way. The way of their teaching is not up to the mark sometimes, and they told that it is college and not a school to teach every corner and the reason is acceptable.
Other: The college does give a decent opportunity for the skilled sports players. The college has a Wi-Fi connected campus, and for the hostel too. The college conducts big events such as Varnam, etc. are now in a big development and the scholarships will be given to the eligible students.
