The good, the bad, and in between at KIT.

Placements: In our college, each year 90% of the students get placed. The highest package offered is 30 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Zoho, Wipro, TCS, UST, and CTS. Top roles offered are web designer and web developer. Internship opportunities as equal to placement opportunities on our campus.

Infrastructure: We have common Wi-Fi for all the students in our college for both hostel and college campus. The library has all the books regarding engineering and our course subjects. The quality of food in hostel is a bit bad. Our college canteen is quite good. As for sports, we have a physical education department that takes responsibility for both gym and training the students.

Faculty: Faculty members here are a bit strict but as days passed they became friendly with us. Their teaching and training skills are, to be honest top-notch. Our course curriculum is relevant and it improves our core skills. Semester exams in our college are a bit challenging and the pass percentage is 75%.

Other: I chose this course as I was interested in learning about emerging technologies. The best thing about taking this course in this college is we have several workshops and seminars by experts in addition to our subjects, which makes it easy for us to master IT. The thing I wish they could improve is more interaction between the faculty members and the students. In our college, a lot of events are conducted on a yearly basis. One of our campus' biggest cultural fest is Varnam. Our college pride is Rivals, which is a national-level event.

It has a very bad infrastructure. There is no canteen. It needs improvement.

Placements: Many students are placed in multinational companies like Wipro, Cognizant, etc. Some of the students are doing internships. In the final year, there are only a few students in classrooms.

Infrastructure: The college hostel is the best hostel I have ever seen. Hostel food is also very tasty and hygienic. Rooms are very clean and tidy. There are 4 members in a room. But the classrooms are the worst in condition. College restrooms are not much good.

Faculty: Many teachers are very talented and their teaching is excellent. In our college, all the faculty members are giving importance mainly to placements. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Since the past 2 years, there are no offline classes for us. Even the exams are conducted online.

Other: Everything is good in our good.

I am satisfied with the campus life. It has friendly staff members and a good infrastructure.

Placements: About 60-70% of students get placed every year. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Infosys, IBM, Dell, HP, etc., visit our college for placements. About 40% of students get an internship every year in many multinational companies.

Infrastructure: Labs are quite good. Our college has Linux and windows labs, mechanical labs, etc. The hostel is satisfactory, and the quality of the food served is below satisfactory. Our college provides encourageable importance to sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers are very much helpful. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching is good. Since it is affiliated with Anna University, the course curriculum is the same. Semester exams are quite normal and easygoing as we are prepared for them. The pass percentage is 50%.

Placements: Placements are available for IT and CSE students, and The 88 company comes to the college for placements every year. Karpagam Institute of Technology gives importance to IT and CSE students. My seniors got placed in Amazon, Wipro, TCS, etc. My batchmates also got selected in companies of all countries.

Infrastructure: The college lab is very poor, and the classrooms available are not bad. A library is available, and all books are available there. Online booking for CAT online test is conducted by the library staff every day. The college needs to provide sports equipment and a trainer.

Faculty: The college staff and teachers are excellent. The quality of teaching is better than that of other colleges. Karpagam Institute of Technology staff's teaching methods are very good and easy to understand most of the subjects of the course.

Other: Karpagam college campus has a very good infrastructure.

Our college provides good infrastructure and neat campus.

Placements: Placements provided in our college are very good. More than 70 companies recruit around 90% of students from our college from the 5th semester. It provides guaranteed placements. The placement class starts in the first year.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi system is very good at a speed of 12 Gbps and is provided for all the students. The food served is very good. Sports are encouraged in our college.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified and helpful during exams. Teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students ready for the industry and jobs.

Other: Cultural events organised in our college are good and enjoyable. This course is very good in our college.
