Kongu Engineering College is good, but this college is located on the outskirts of Erode.

Placements: I don't know the exact placement percentage. I think it is around 75% in my department. In my department, the average salary is approximately 3–4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata, TCS, ZOHO, Infosys, and Soliton. Service-based roles are a major in my department.

Kongu Engineering College is best for infrastructure and good for placement and academics.

Placements: 80 percent of students are being placed with an average package of 23 LPA, and the lowest package is 5.5 LPA. L&T and Bosch are coming for placement. Around 78 percent of people are getting internships, and all is fine. Team leader and other posts, like manager, are being offered as top positions.

Good atmosphere and infrastructure.

Placements: In my batch (2024-25) of the AIML course, around 92 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 45 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and the average is 12 LPA. Top recruiters include Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and TCS. About 85 percent got internships at firms like Infosys, Deloitte, and Accenture. Major roles offered were Software Engineer, Data Analyst, and AI Developer.

Strong placements and an industry-ready AIML curriculum with excellent infrastructure.

Placements: 70-85 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 30 LPA-42 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA-4.5 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA-8 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and Accenture. 60-70 percent of students got internships at Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and startups. Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty staffs because of the use of rude behavior.

Placements: About 80 percent of food technology students are placed. The highest package is around 40 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Top recruiters include Nestle, Amul, PepsiCo, Britannia, Dabur, and FSSAI. Around 75 percent secure internships. Top roles offered are food technologies, quality control, and R&D.

From what I’ve seen, Kongu Engineering College's TNEA cutoff for CSE, IT, and ECE usually stays above 180–190, so with 175 it’s tough for those. But you can still get branches like Mechanical, Civil or EEE. The fees come to around INR 55 K – INR 60 k per year, and hostel charges are extra.

No B.E Cyber security course is not available in Kongu Engineering college 

It offers only following courses 

1 B.E in computer Science engineering 

2 B.Tech in artificial intelligence and Data science 

3 B.Tech in Artificial intelligence and machine learning

Based on the placement statistics and the reviews provided, the highest salary package offered at KEC-Kongu Engineering College is INR 80 LPA. More than 80% of the students get placed every year. Some of the top recruiting companies include Wipro, CTS, Zoho, TCS, Accenture, etc.

Based on the reviews provided, the teachers at KEC-Kongu Engineering College are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful and supportive. They also provide supplementary learning materials. The faculty is experienced and caring, which enhances the experience at the university.
