Faculty members are good. Placement is not very much. The infrastructure and hostel are good.
Placements: To be honest, a very less percentage of students get placed in our college. The main two reasons for this are that a majority of students prefer higher studies and a less number of companies come for campus placements. However, companies will come if we consistently contact them and show enthusiasm for jobs rather than higher studies. Some banks, tractor companies, and irrigation companies are the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: Compared to all other government colleges, I would say our college provides better infrastructure and hostel facilities with good quality food. The college also supports students in sports and games by helping them participate in inter-agricultural national level and South Zone level competitions.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good at teaching and provide immense support. The curriculum is relevant to the present scenario, as the new syllabus includes courses like artificial intelligence. It also gives students a chance to get a Diploma Certificate if they are interested in leaving the course after 1 or 2 years. Semester exams are quite difficult. But it is not a difficult task even for a below-average student to pass.

Absolutely satisfied with renowned faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: Most of the students in KCAET were well placed in food industries such as Hatsun, Jubilant Food Works, Kohinoor, etc. But most of them opted for higher studies in foreign countries such as New Zealand, Canada and Australia. However, it's our honour to be blessed with good alumni. The salary packages offered were decent and ranged between 1.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Students were offered roles such as production executive, quality controller, and also R&D executive. Most of the students got internships in the reputed organisations such as Pepsico, United Breweries, Britannia, Hatsun Agro Products, etc., which nurture to be the future leaders. There is a placement cell in the college, but it depends on us to utilise it effectively and to find the benefit through it.
Infrastructure: Concerning facilities, you would be amazed by the facilities the college is providing in spite of being a government college. I assure you don't have to worry about the facilities in the college as it's international. The college provides classrooms, library, medical facilities, labs and also high-speed Wi-Fi connection, to students. Labs in the college contain advanced equipment and also offers a handsome experience to the students which reflects the quality of education. The canteen offers delicious food to the students, and it also offers an option to select the food from the menu. Even the hostel rooms are very pretty and quite comfortable. The infrastructure of the campus is out of the mark. The campus is spread over 100 acres. Campus life is good.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are renowned personalities of Kerala Agricultural University. All are research engineers, so KCAET students are proud to be blessed with such faculty members who are highly qualified from IITs and foreign universities around the globe. The teaching methods are not confined inside the classroom as all are practical oriented and also conduct an industrial visit for each course. In our case, our batch was blessed to get overseas industrial exposure from National Ilan University Taiwan. The course curriculum of KCAET consists of 8 semesters of classes, including one semester of industrial training. The course curriculum of the college is much useful to the students to learn about the food from the basics.
Other: About the extracurricular activities, I am not sure whether you'll have these many opportunities in any other college to hang out on the campus fest, surroundings, and to participate in sports, etc.

Everything is good like teachers library infrastructure etc.
Placements: Some of our seniors got a job through campus placement. VST Tillers, Kirloskar Pumps and such companies are offering jobs here. In VST Tillers, they treated our agricultural engineers as a Technical Trainer. The salary offered by them is 13,000 and an extra 500 for food and accommodation per day. Almost all the final year students do their internship programme during the last semester as an inplant training. At this time, we get 8,000 as a stipend.
Infrastructure: 24-hours Wi-Fi is available. But, the computer lab is not much developed while comparing with the other self-financing colleges. The chemistry and physics labs are also very poor, but the electrical lab is sufficient. The other labs like geotechnical engineering lab and HMT labs are good. The library has sufficient books for all the students and a book bank scheme is there for providing individual copies of books to the students at half the price of the original. Really tasty food is served by our canteen, and the hostel rooms also sufficient to accommodate 4 people per room.
Faculty: Mainly, 4 departments are here. All the teachers are good and qualified, and almost all the teachers possess a doctorate. We have industrial visits related to our subjects, and most of the theory papers have practical sessions in our syllabus. In one department, there are many guest lectures as well.
Other: Our college is superb because here, we not only doing studies but also all other extracurricular activities like arts festival, sports day, athletics etc. Like the other colleges, our college also has a little kind of politics which makes a student into a social being.

    Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Unfortunately, there are no placements that are taking place in our college. But in a year, only 40 students are passing out. So the competition is less when compared to other engineering courses. The students who passed out are now working abroad or some are preparing for more competitive exams. Now the 32nd batch of this course is studying in the college as first-year students.
Infrastructure: The college is situated on the banks of Bharathappuzha. The college is situated in a 100 hector area and there are 3 buildings for classrooms, one library building and one college canteen. There is also a Krishi Vijnaan Kendra. The computer lab has its own Wi-Fi network. There is a large playground and the sports and games are also given importance as the academics. There is also a ladies hostel and a men's hostel. The hostel rooms are good. Food is also good. All the books are available in the library. There are also labs for each main course and workshops too.
Faculty: The teachers are very few here. Permanent teachers are good at teaching. Some of the temporary staff members are also good. Most of them use multimedia presentations to teach rather than reading the textbooks in the classroom. Student-faculty ratio is about 25. It is due to less number of students.
Other: This college will be a variety experience for those who are studying in this college. There are a few students, so each and every one knows each other very well. Most of the students are staying in hostels and only 5 percent of the total students are day scholars. The all-India tour, which is a part of the curriculum and farm and all other experiences may lead us to develop a good personality.

A walk through the waves of KCAET campus- great experience and lovely moments
Placements: Graduates from our college are placed in different fields of states and abroad. They worked most satisfactorily and commitment in every field. The first 5 to 6 batch students worked in teaching field as professors, associate professors, and assistant professors. Some of them worked in soil and water as well as in ground water departments. From next batch onwards so many of them worked in USA, Africa, and Gulf countries. From 17 to 27th batch, most of the graduates worked in different locations in India. Some worked in different projects in Gulf countries. Some were placed in banks as an agricultural specialist officer. Few of them worked in marketing field of irrigation product company, tractor and power tiller company and food industries. Few worked as research assistants, teaching assistants in agricultural institutions and colleges. Few were placed temporary basis in Adhma projects and other Panjayath projects. Almost 60-70% graduates were paced and they got a minimum salary of Rs. 15000. The average income was nearly Rs. 40000 rupees. Some of the companies which visited our college for campus interview are Cadbury, VST Tractors and Tillers, Jain Irrigation and Eastern etc. They offering marketing, field investigation, and seminar coordinator posts. 10-20% student got an internship from the college getting a minimum of Rs. 2000/month to a maximum of Rs. 8000/month and an average of Rs. 3000/month stipend.
Infrastructure: The KCAET campus has 40 hectares area in which 50% area was used as research farm. The college has two sets of blocks, a combined one for agricultural engineering and the other for food engineering. Separate lab facilities are arranged for different courses such as research workshop, carpentry workshop, chemistry, physics, surveying, strength of materials, heat and mass transfer, fluid mechanics, electrical, computer, remote sensing, food engineering laboratory, and observatory. KCAET has a good facilitated library which has different subject books, objective books, weekly and yearly magazines, thesis reports, journals and computer facilities, etc. There are two auditoria in which one is a roof-top auditorium. For physical education, separate courts are available for games such as volleyball court, basketball court, foosball court, indoor badminton court etc. In the case of hostel facilities, two girls' hostel and two men's hostels are situated having WiFi facilities. Some other structures are also situated on this campus such as trainee's hostel, farmers hostel, teachers quarters, engineering section, Kelappaji house, Veterinary hospital, Precision Farming and Developing Centre and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, etc. The canteen is satisfactory but offers good quality food and is open from 8 am to 5 pm.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified in which 30% were professors, 25% associate professors, 15% assistant professors, and 30% were guest lecturers. All are very helpful for the entire course time. Few of them used presentation mode class and most of them are practical-oriented teaching. The student-teacher ratio in our college is 6:1. In the course year, we have separate training sections in different industries and institutions which are very useful for future. Teachers were friendly, helpful, and caring. They provide a good environment for studying and other extracurricular activities.
Other: The college started as a rural institution in the 1970s and changed as agricultural engineering college in 1980s. Different types of seeds and plants are cultivated and sailed trough farms situated in the campus. The Bharathapuzha river is flowing near the farm area. Our college students show their strength in arts, athletics, and games etc. We are the athletic champions of intercollegiate athletic meet and football champions in the intercollegiate games. We performed well in the arts festival too. Some of our students got selection in university team for Interagri and inter-university sports and games. The campus has a good environment.

Our college provides a wide range of opportunities and facilities for the betterment of students.
Placements: It is the only college in Kerala which provides the course of agricultural engineering. Only 50 students in a year are passed out in this course. So the chances of getting a job are much higher when compared to other courses. Students are getting placed in companies like KAMCO, Kerala Agro Industries, etc.
Infrastructure: The entire campus and even the hostel are Wi-Fi enabled by the government of Kerala. The hostel has a good mess and it serves nutritional foods. College has sports equipment for indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well experienced. They have all have good qualifications for becoming teachers. They make use of smart classes and online classes to make students concentrate on their studies. Industrial visits conducted at regular time period helps students to develop their industrial minds.
Other: This course is limited and has a wide range of opportunities in the agricultural field. Students should make contact with nature in order to improve the course. The college is providing many scholarships to students in the arts and sports section in order to make them more active and energetic.
