KIIT university review by Yash Pratap Singh.
Placements: Currently the placement season is going on for our batch (2025), wherein the college is inviting almost all top-level companies across the globe for recruiting the students. Since the placement season is going on currently, I have no accurate information regarding the placed student percentage or the highest package. But the placement process is very organized.
Infrastructure: KIIT has one of the best infrastructures in India with its largely spread lush green campus. It has state-of-the art infrastructure (eye-catching buildings like the department building, central library, gyms, swimming pool, and hostels), which will please your eyes for sure. You can also enjoy scenic views as KIIT is surrounded by mountains with great scenic views. You can find good-quality food along with great market access.
Faculty: Teachers at KIIT are quite friendly and also offer best guidance on their judgement of the student. The academic curriculum of KIIT can make you industry-ready due to continuous training programs taking place in informative years of your bachelor's degree. The semester exams are moderately prepared for the benefit of student's overall development. The pass percentage is quite impressive due to KIIT's impressive work culture and environment.
Other: I choose CSE at KIIT University as it is something underrated still in the market as KIIT's work environment is still lesser known among students, but indeed its one of the best courses, having experienced and friendly faculty members guiding us towards success. Something KIIT can improve is the addition of a few more practical (the latest) subjects in the curriculum for the betterment of students. KIIT has one of the best connectivity in the city, as it is located in one of the prime areas of the city with great market connectivity.

College is good but you have to give your best.
Placements: All the types of students study here but mainly Jharkhand and UP states’ students are found the most. Top recruiting companies are Infotech Pvt. Ltd., etc. Top courses are CSE and IT core branches. The highest package offered by the companies is 63 Lacs, the lowest package is 3-4 Lacs with an average package of 7-8 Lacs (B. Tech CSE).
Infrastructure: The college has very good and excellent infrastructure with 24/7 WiFi facilities in the hostel. The mess is up to the mark. Outsiders are not allowed. You have to take permission to go outside the campus. It is too strict for the girls. Good manners are compulsory.
Faculty: The teachers are supportive, helpful in nature, etc. If the students give their best, they are made ready for the industry. Exams are not too hard. It depends upon you and your studies as to how much time and efforts to put in. If you give your 100 percent, it will prove to be great for you only.
Other: Best course in this college is B.Tech. The campus is too crowded. All the events and fest are amazing. You will enjoy your college life here.

It gives a very good college life with great state of the art facilities and impressive teachers.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest salary package is 6 LPA. The recruiting companies are Shapoorji Pallonji Engineering and Construction Ltd, GMR Infrastructure Ltd, AFCOns infrastructure limited, etc. Majority of students got internships at Swastik Estates Ltd.
Infrastructure: Labs are top-class, with state-of-the-art technologies for students of all fields. The quality of food served in the normal hostel is good, but good in the international sections. Medical facilities are good. There are various places to play sports.
Faculty: Teachers in our department are kind, helpful, and supportive. The course curriculum is good, but it doesn't make students ready for industrial work. The courses are compact, but due to very good teaching, the pass percentage is above 90%.
Other: I chose this course by random choice, but later, I gained interest in the geotechnical engineering field of study. The course curriculum and exam schedule should be better. Events, fests, and other activities deserve 5 stars.

Our college provides good infrastructure and advanced lab facilities.
Placements: Around 60% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest salary package in the civil branch is 8 LPA. The recruiting companies are Shapoorji Pallonji Engineering and Construction Ltd, Simplex Infrastructure, GMR Infrastructure, Reliance Infrastructure, Ashiyana Housing Private Ltd, and Tata Projects Ltd. Around 75% of students get internships in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college consists of smart classrooms, a BIM lab, and 24X7 Wi-Fi. Library is updated every semester. An ambulance is available for emergencies. It has a vast cricket ground, rugby ground, tennis court, badminton court, basketball court, and volleyball court. Our campus has its gym and swimming pool. Our branch has top-notch and advanced laboratories.
Faculty: Many faculty members in our college are knowledgeable and highly qualified. They have industrial experience. The course curriculum is relevant, but it focuses on exams. It doesn't prepare students for the industry. The minimum passing CGPA is 7 CGPA. Semesters are hectic with lab assignments and exam pressure.
Other: I chose this course as civil engineers are the builders of society. The course curriculum should focus more on project-based and industry-orientated learning rather than theoretical aspects. Our college has good environmental ecosystem, water treatment plants, a roof solar farm, and biogas chambers. Fests and events organised are the best. Our college supports entrepreneurship through the business incubator.

The best and a beautiful college .
Placements: Approximately 70% of students were placed in my course. The highest package was INR 11 lpa, the lowest was INR 5 lpa, and the average was INR 5.5 lpa. 60–70% of students got internships from my course. Mainly in M.Tech., construction and planning, structural, geotechnical, and others are provided.
Infrastructure: Yes, the facilities are very good, and many useful books are available in libraries. The wi-fi is also good here. The qualities of the facilities in our hostel are good enough: the food available in the mess is average, the food in the canteen is good, medical facilities, sports facilities, etc. are good enough.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and highly qualified, mainly from NITs and IITs. It also makes the students ready for the industry. The semester exams aren't that difficult, but in the 3rd year of civil engineering, it will become a bit hectic due to more subjects.
Other: I chose the civil because I was interested in it. Events, fests, campus crowds, etc. are the main things.

Such a mind-blowing and amusing college, I suggest this to everyone.
Placements: Getting a B.Tech seat at KIIT is not that much easy as it used to be before 7-8 years. Now over 2.5 lacs candidates are appearing for its entrance examination. You can get a set even if you score 20000-25000 rank. But, if you're willing to get the best branches like CS, IT, etc., then you need to score under 6000.
Infrastructure: There are lots of facilities in the hostel and I suggest everyone get admitted to this college and take advantage of the hostel. All services of the hostel are excellent and students feel that they are at home not at the hostel. I also like this hostel. This is one of the best campus providers and it has the best studying environment.
Faculty: Teachers of the college are very helpful. They are always ready to help the students and their nature are very kind. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. The pass percentage of the semester exam is 33% and there are no difficulties in the exam. The faculty are friendly and every subject they teach with 100% doubt clear classes. They are always worried about students' bright futures.
