Placements: Around 60-70% of the students get placed. From the previous Statistics companies like Tata Steel, Cesc, PwC, and a bunch of other companies visit here for placements. The average package is around 6-7 LPA. The highest package was around 37LPA from Microsoft.
Infrastructure: All the labs and the classrooms are well maintained. There is a very well maintained library although the hostels are a bit old. There are also gym facilities along with two playgrounds. The campus is wi-fi enabled with separate hostels for ...
Placements: Placements lacked in the department. Still, if you are eligible to do great, you can achieve anything you want from college, not only academically but also on other sides.
Infrastructure: Hostel food is quite good, and hostel rooms are normal compared to other renowned colleges. Our college infrastructure is great. Mess and canteens are quite worthy of money. Sports and games are the best.
Placements: From the 4th year of the B.Tech course, students are eligible for placements. In 3rd year, students are almost eligible for internships too. Nearly 100% of the students who sit for the placements get placed. The average package would be around 8-10 LPA. I'm planning to get a master's degree.

The highest package was offered by Microsoft (39 LPA) for 6 students, and the lowest package was offered by some of the mass recruiters like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, etc., of 3.6 LPA. If it is easy people will score high marks and you can not even get NITs at as hi...Dear aspirant, Nobody can tell you beforehand what you have to score to get CSE at IIEST Shibpur because the whole scenario of getting a seat depends on your rank which in turn depends on how tough the paper is set. If it is easy people will score high marks and you can not even get NITs at as high as 160 marks. But if it is tough you can get even at 140 marks. Everything here is relative. But in general, to be in the safe region, you must get 200+ to get CSE at IIEST SHIBPUR (applies both for HOME STATE QUOTA and OUTSIDE STATE QUOTA). Thank you.
