B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029

Overall the campus life and study life are interesting here.
Placements: The last batch passed out had a higher number of placements of about 70-80 percent of the total number of students. The average package is around 6 LPA-8 LPA at top companies including Capgemini, Infosys, and Deloitte. From the first and second years, students do guest internships depending on the personal merit of the student
Infrastructure: The classrooms provide proper infrastructure with centralized AC. Wi-Fi is free around the campus. The library is wonderfully designed. The hostel quality is also good as it feels. The food courts provide fast food as well as cooked food. The sports facilities are well built and can be useful as per the intent of the student.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are knowledgeable and highly qualified. The teaching is also good. The course curriculum is well above average and makes students take up projects that make them industry-ready. The exams occur at intervals of about 2 months. A semester continues for a time period of about 4-5 months.
Other: The college life is interesting, keeping studies aside. It is quite sociable and helps students amalgamate easily. Events, fests, hackathons, and workshops all make the campus life worthwhile.

According to placement, college is good. Infrastructure is also great.
Placements: It is a decent university for placement. The highest package at a university is about 64 LPA, and the average package is about 8 LPA. The top recruiting company for the B.Tech course is Infosys. Overall, it is the best university for B.Tech students. It is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the KIIT University is great. Actually, I think, according to infrastructure, the KIIT University is the best in India. The campus size is also very good, about 3100 acres, which means a very large campus size. The hostel is also amazing, and the food is decent.
Faculty: I think the faculty is average. Some faculty members are very good, but some are very strict according to their marks. But teaching quality is good. Difficulties of semester exams are not so hard. The pass percentage is 40%. So it is easy to get.
Other: I chose the B.Tech course because it offers a lot of money. The crowd at the university is very crowded. Fest is also conducted every year. You know, in KIIT, top personalities have also come, like Bill Gates, Nita Ambani, and so on.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027

4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Overall, a good college for B.Tech in CSE.
Placements: Around 90% of students were placed in more than 200 companies like Accenture, Cognizant, High Radius, etc. The highest package was around 52 LPA, and the lowest was around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Accenture, High Radius, TCS, etc. Around 50% of students got internships in companies like Dell, High Radius, Antbox, etc. The top roles offered are SDE, product development, and some market analyst roles.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are top-notch with a well-spacious campus, and we have 24/7 Wi-Fi available. The classrooms are within a 1km range from the hostel, with both digital boards and marker boards. Library systems are one of the best facilities here. Each department has its own library where you can study all night, and there is a central library for all. In the hostel, there are various options like 2-bed and 3-bed, and there is a mess in the hostel itself. There is also a reading room in the hostel, and laundry services are available at a low cost.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and we can choose teachers by ourselves during section selection. Teaching quality is good as the teachers are knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, but there is room for further enhancement. However, it is very well-designed to make students industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty easy here, with a not-so-strict marking system.
Other: I chose this as I wanted to be in the technology field, and KIIT was a good option. The best thing about the course is that it is designed very well. Everything is there for a reason and connects well. The only improvement I feel should be more focus on lab work instead of theory. Various fests are happening throughout the year, but there is an annual fest around February-March. There are many scholarship programs too, like for semester toppers. Campus life is vibrant, as the area near the college is very fulfilling.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
One of the best colleges for LAW, B.Tech, and BDS. Offers a lot of opportunities and connections.
Placements: About 89% were placed in my course CSE B.Tech. The highest was 54 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average is 12 LPA. The top companies were TCS, Infosys, and Deloitte. About 70% got internships, with the majority in TCS. Roles like system engineer, full-stack developer, database manager, and SDE were offered.
Infrastructure: There is free Wi-Fi all around campus. There are multiple labs open 24/7. Classrooms are well-ventilated with AC. The library is huge and has a wide variety of books. It is one of the largest institutions in terms of infrastructure. KIIT has its own hospital, KIMS, and the quality is outstanding. The food is better than in most colleges, and we get free medical insurance as students in KIMS. There are multiple basketball courts, tennis courts, and a swimming pool available for free.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and they teach quite well. The course curriculum is up to date with current industry standards. The end-semester examinations are quite easier to crack, and with decent study sessions and teachers' help, you can get a 9+ CGPA easily. The pass percentage is almost 90%.
Other: I am from B.Tech CSE. I chose this course as I wanted to be an ENGINEER. It would be better if there were practical scenarios along with theory for every subject. There is a KIIT fest happening every year, events happen every few days, huge campus crowds, and good connections with different companies for placements. It's not just a campus; it's a whole megacity.

Good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and decent placement opportunities.
Placements: Placements for my batch are decent but depend a lot on students’ skills and preparation. Around 65-70% of students from our course get placed through campus drives. The highest package offered is around 10 LPA to 12 LPA, while the lowest package is about 3 LPA to 3.5 LPA. The average package ranges between 4.5 LPA to 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, Deloitte, EY, Capgemini, and Infosys. About 60% of students also receive internship opportunities in companies like Deloitte, EY, Accenture, and startups, mostly in software engineering roles.
Infrastructure: College has good infrastructure for both academics and hostel life. Classrooms are big and well maintained with proper seating and smart teaching facilities. Labs are having updated systems and required software. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. Central library has a wide collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, and digital resources. It helps during exams and projects. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms. Along with regular water and electricity supply, and adequate security. Quality of food in the mess is satisfactory, with a decent variety. Canteen offers affordable options.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, supportive, and approachable. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and help students outside of class hours as well. The curriculum is relevant and structured, covering both theoretical knowledge and practical applications, which helps build industry-ready skills. Regular assignments, presentations, and projects ensure continuous learning. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty and are based on what is taught in class. With regular study and attendance, exams are manageable. The overall pass percentage is quite good, and the evaluation process is fair and transparent.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in technology and the wide career opportunities it offers. The best part of the course is the balance between theory and practical learning. Along with exposure to projects, internships, and industry-oriented subjects. Campus environment is lively, with regular technical events, cultural fests, seminars, and workshops that help overall personality development. The campus crowd is diverse and friendly. The connectivity to nearby areas is good with public transport easily available. Extracurricular activities, clubs, and sports events encourage students to explore interests beyond academics.

Overall, it's a good college.
Placements: Mostly, students get placed, as I have heard from my seniors. The average package is okay, with a median of 7 LPA, and the highest goes around 21 LPA. Mostly, students get internships here. Some of the recruiting companies that visit include Accenture, Infosys, JP Morgan, etc. Mostly, the roles offered are SDE, business analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are nice, and we get Wi-Fi in the classrooms too. I personally love the library, it's just perfect. Hostels are great, to be honest, infrastructure-wise, they can be very strict for girls, though. Few have study rooms even. Food is great, there's so much variety, and it keeps changing every once in a while. A few hostels have a badminton and basketball court very close to them, if you are lucky enough.
Faculty: Some teachers are really great and will actually make you enjoy learning. The course curriculum is relevant. We also have assigned mentors who are there for the students, they visit hostels often to ask if we are facing any issues. The semester exams are not tough, to be honest, just go through the PYQs, and you will be fine. The paper is standard in my opinion.
Other: The fest here is really fun, it generally happens in mid-February, mostly after mid-semester.
