Good curriculum and decent placements.

Placements: Placements of the previous year were decent, about 40 to 50 percent of MTech students got placed. Top recruiting companies were Wipro, Infotech, Cognizant, Cisco, Capgemini, Infosys, Accenture, TCS, etc. Average packages were roughly 6 to 8 LPA, and the highest package was 20 LPA in the year 2023.

Infrastructure: Classrooms were of average size, equipped with AC, Wi-Fi, smart boards, projectors, etc. Labs were good and all needed facilities were there. A huge library was present inside the campus with a capacity of around 2000 persons. Hostels were well-maintained, and mess food was adjustable. A big medical facility was present inside the campus.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful and supportive. All of them were well-talented and knowledgeable. The course curriculum was not specific to the industry, but all the T&P classes were provided by the college. Semester exams were easy, basic preparation was enough for a good CGPA, and the pass percentage was 90 percent.

It's a good college for building a good career. Students enjoy it here.

Placements: Many students are not eligible for companies because of their poor SGPA. But in our college, our Placement Cell team is always with us for any career-related problems. This year, the highest package is 42 LPA, and our average package is 8 LPA. Many top-rated companies like Human Resocia, NVIDIA, etc. recruit students. Almost 3,500 job offers are available.

Infrastructure: There is a problem with the mess food. Some days, our food tastes very poor. On the other hand, facilities and infrastructure are very good. Even a research centre building is being built next year. It will be one of the largest research centres in Asia. Hostel wardens are very helpful but take strict action when we do anything wrong.

Faculty: The teaching quality is moderate to good. Our courses properly follow industrial requirements. During the semester exams, our faculty makes many rules and regulations. The difficulty level of our exams is moderate to hard. Sometimes, the papers are easy.

KIIT is a decent college when it comes to private colleges.

Placements: At the end of the placement season, the majority of the students are placed, but the roles of their jobs are typically non-tech, as for the campus placement, usually tech roles are comparatively less. The non- tech jobs are usually consultancy and marketing. As far as the package is concerned, it ranges from 2.5 LPA-61 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, it stands taller than several other colleges, i.e., tier 1,2, and 3. Hostel facilities are pretty good. When it comes to Wi-Fi speed, it is a little turbulent, while lab facilities are good when it comes to the computer science branch, but for electronics-based branches, things have deteriorated in the last couple of years. A new campus has been constructed with great facilities, be it the canteen, mess, or any aspect you name it.

Faculty: When it comes to faculty, my review will be a little mixed. They are qualified enough, but a chunk of facilities still lacks the qualities of teaching. As far as the course & curriculum are concerned, it has been updated, but not industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty decent, which is worth scoring & regulations towards malpractices have been scrutinized from this year, unlike the previous years, which were a little mild.

Other: My branch has a combination of Computer Science and specialisation, which is decent enough compared to other courses. Labs are pretty hectic as they resemble an ECE-based subject, so that needs to be taken care of for CSE undergrads. Frequent events are organised based on every aspect and interest. Apart from IIT kgp's Kshitij Fest, KIIT Fest is undoubtedly the best on the Eastern side of India. Society is established for every sort of extracurricular activity.

KIIT honest review about infrastructure, college life, and teaching style.

Placements: Top recruiters are Yugabyte, Meesho, and many more. Mass recruiters are TCS, Wipro, HCL, Tech Mahindra, and many more.

Infrastructure: The hostels and infrastructure are quite impressive. Wi-Fi seems to be good. Classrooms are advanced. The library is superb.

Faculty: Teachers are very supportive, helpful, and kind. The course objectives are very supportive, as they help us understand the outcomes of the courses offered and what we have learnt. The teaching quality is fantastic. It makes the students industry-ready. University also has a great alumni network. The course is very good.

Other: One of the best universities I have ever seen. It has a good coding culture and lots of events. The teaching style is prominent and up to industry level. Mostly, the great thing is that everything is very well organized and maintained. I love the way it is. I am hoping for a great placement.

Good CSE course with decent placements and campus life.

Placements: TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte, and Cognizant recruit students for software and analytics roles. 80 percent of students in my CSE batch got placed. Internship opportunities are also available through campus placements and individual applications. The highest package is around 30 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: Facilities like classrooms, Wi-Fi, and well-equipped labs are provided. The campus infrastructure is generally well maintained. Hostel facilities are decent, and students have access to mess and canteen facilities along with sports and recreational facilities. We have well-equipped computer labs. Students also have access to a central library in our department.

Faculty: Faculty members are qualified. Students can approach them. Programming, databases, operating systems, networking, etc., are included in our curriculum. Coding and additional skills outside the classroom are required to be industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult.

Other: I chose CSE because of my interest in technology and the career opportunities in the IT sector. KIIT provides a good combination of academics, campus activities, and placement opportunities. Campus life is active with various fests, clubs, and extracurricular activities. One area that could be improved is providing more practical and industry-oriented learning.

It’s a good college, but there are much better schools aside from my college.

Placements: See, here the placement is only based on your CGPA because if your CGPA is not over 8.5, then you won’t be shortlisted for the company exam. Roles are mostly in IT firms or sales. From my perspective, because I am a student of 4th year, most of the students are on internships, but half of them don’t have a PPO.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are average with sufficient rooms and amenities. But the washrooms need to be clean and properly maintained because some things, like hangers or showers, are missing. The medical facilities are good because it happened to me, though the shuttle service should be ready to pick you up.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are good, qualified, and have a good knowledge about the subjects. The course curriculum is fairly relevant and covers the core concepts required for the field. About semester exams, they are kind of difficult but doable, so it’s good.

Other: I chose CSE because I can be someone who can sit behind the screens and code all day. It’s like a game to me.
