Interested candidates can apply online with the required information. Eligible candidates need to appear for the KIIT Entrance Exam (KIITEE) conducted by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. Admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in the KIITEE.

Yes, BTech course is available at the KIIT School of Computer Engineering. The university offers BTech courses at the UG level. Candidate must meet the eligibility criteria to enrol for BTech course admission set by the college. Aspirants must pass Class 12 with a 60% aggregate (PCM). KIIT SCE admission process is entrance-based. 

KIIT School of Computer Engineering admissions for PhD course (January session) 2025 application is open. Till now, no schedule has been released by the university. Since the application portal is live for the PhD course, candidates can apply online for their preferred course. KIIT School of Computer Engineering admission 2025 is entrance-based, i.e., KIITEE. KIIT School of Computer Engineering offers 10 courses at the UG, PG and PhD levels in multiple streams like Engineering, Science, Management, etc.

The overall the highest package offered during KIIT University placements 2023 stood at INR 63 LPA. Further according to the Engineering NIRF report 2024 released, the median package offered during BTech and MTech placements 2023 stood at INR 8 LPA. Further, the placement rate recorded during BTech and M.Tech placements 2023 was 100%.

Earlier, the NIRF report 2023 was out for the Engineering department. As per the report,  3,688 BTech and 103 M.Tech students were placed during KIIT School of Engineering placements 2022. During 2022 placements, 97% of BTech and 93% of M.Tech students were placed. When comparing the last three years' data, the placement rate for BTech improved from 2020 to 2022, whereas, the M.Tech placement rate was nearly the same. Candidates have to attend the counselling as per the schedule. Candidates called for counselling must bring original documents (listed below) and token fees to the counselling Centre.

• The graduation mark sheet and Pass Certificate only for MCA, MCA (LE), M.Sc. (Biotechnology / Applied Microbiology). 
• Diploma Pass Certificate and three years Mark Sheet (for Lateral Entry Candidates). 
• BTech/B.E./ MCA/ M.Sc. or Equivalent Degree Certificate (For MTech. /LLM/Ph.D Candidates) 
• Relevant Certificate issued by the Competent Authority, clearly indicating the Reservation Criteria claimed by the candidate. 
• GATE Score Card (for MTech. GATE Qualified only). 
• Demand Draft of INR 75,000/- which includes the counselling registration fees of INR 10,000 (Non-Refundable) in favor of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar. The balance fee as per the fee structure is to be paid on the day of reporting.
