Placements: KIIT College has a training and placement cell that provides on-campus placements to students with a decent package. Currently, many students are getting placed with an average package of 9 LPA CTC. The highest package at KIIT is 52 LPA CTC in the year 2023-24 and 64 LPA CTC in the year 2022-23.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent, with world-class buildings. The classes are held in many different campuses, such as Campus 3, Campus 8, Campus 15, and Campus 12, for specific courses. There is a smart board available, the classes are neat and clean, and the timings are quite decent for 1st-year students. The Wi-Fi system is a bit slow on mobile phones, but the speed is very high for laptops and bigger devices. The KIIT central library is one of the major attractions for students due to its advanced systems and maintenance. In the 1st year, the boys are allotted KP-7AB hostel for 3-bedded non-AC rooms. This hostel is very large and is exclusively for freshers. It is well-maintained and has a large mess. Our hostel also has a library where students can study. Overall, the hostel life and college life are decent.

Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified in their respective domains and provide the best education to the students. The majority of the faculty members are very supportive, clearing every doubt, providing study materials, and solving many problems that students face. The courses provided here are quite relevant, but there are certain subjects that play no role in computer engineering, such as Biology and Environmental Science. These are only present for exposure to the students, but the rest of the subjects are relevant to the engineering discipline. The difficulty of semester exams varies; some students face many difficulties, while others have no difficulties and secure very good grades. The passing percentage is 33%.

Other: I chose this course because I am quite interested in learning about artificial intelligence and machine learning, and also due to the rise in the trend of this domain in the market. I would wish that students pursuing Computer Science would not need to study subjects that are irrelevant to this field, like Biology, EVS, and Chemistry. It would be more appreciable if these subjects were not taught in the 1st year. The campus has a huge crowd, with around 5000 students in our batch, but still, this campus is large enough that people can't explore the entire institute. The extracurricular facilities are excellent here, including sports facilities, clubs, and societies. Fests are organized every year, and famous personalities like actors and singers are invited as guests. Many competitions are held for the students. Overall, this university is good for students to develop their personalities, explore, and discover themselves.
