Supportive faculty members, strong core labs, peaceful campus, good for self-motivated EEE students.
Placements: Around 65-75% of EEE students are placed via campus or off-campus drives. Highest salary package is 6 LPA, average is 3.2 LPA, and lowest is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiters are Tata Power, L&T, Cognizant, Jindal Steel, Bosch, Wipro, Capgemini, and TCS. Top roles are graduate engineer trainee, electrical design engineer, embedded developer, control systems engineer, site engineer, and maintenance engineer.
Infrastructure: The EEE department has labs for electrical machines, power electronics, control systems, microcontrollers, and power systems. Classrooms are spacious, airy, and have projectors, smart boards (in some blocks). Wi-Fi is active near the library and labs. Hostel Wi-Fi is weak or slow. Mobile data also works poorly. Internet speed is often low. It has a good central library. It has EEE books, journals, old papers, and project reports. It has well-equipped labs for machines, control systems, and microcontrollers.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, approachable, and supportive both inside and outside the class. Most faculty members are postgraduates, and few are PhD holders, with good technical knowledge and subject command. The course follows the VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University) syllabus, which covers core EEE subjects like: electrical machines, power systems, power electronics, control systems, embedded systems, renewable energy, basics of Python/C, IoT, and project work in final year. If you attend classes and prepare well from the notes and previous year's questions, you can pass easily. Labs and internals carry decent weight and can help boost scores. Friendly and knowledgeable faculty members are ready to support in academics and even in career guidance.
Other: I chose EEE because I was always curious about how electrical machines, circuits, and electronics systems work. The blend of hardware and technical problem-solving in this branch matched my interest in both core engineering and new technologies like automation and IoT. It also offers wide career options, from power sector jobs to embedded systems and renewable energy. Best thing about the course is that strong core foundation in both electrical and electronics domains, which gives flexibility in career choices.

I recommend this college because of the low fee structure compared to other colleges.
Placements: 75% of students got placed from our course. The highest package is 7 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average is 5.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Pentagon, Bosch, Tata Consultancy Services, etc. Almost 80%-90% of students got internships in TCS. Roles would be telecommunication engineer, embedded system engineer, VLSI design engineer, automation engineer, testing and quality engineer.
Infrastructure: In our campus, there is Wi-Fi around all departments, have all labs, and many classrooms, and one big library. There is a separate hostel and mess facilities for boys and girls, and other than mess, there are two canteens. The quality of food in mess is more delicious and tasty than the other two canteens. There is one gym. There are indoor and outdoor pitches. Indoor games are table tennis, carrom, etc. Outdoor games are volleyball net, football net, cricket, and basketball net. There is one gym.
Faculty: Teaching quality is no doubt good and helpful. The only course which not make industry-ready, other than this, we need to acquire some skills. Though it is the toughest course, but we can pass easily in the exam. The pass percentage is around 90%.
Other: I chose this course because in the next 5-10 years semiconductor industry will boom in India as the chips are manufactured in India. I need to improve my technical skills, which are more required in this course, and also my logical skills. They conduct 2 fests in a year where a huge crowd attends, and a fun week is also there for enjoying the college life.

Students should look for a better college.
Placements: As related to the campus of any company, it is not very successful in placements. Even if students are not much guided through then they need to work more on the development of skills. I have so many things which are been negative points just because even students are not cooperative. However, teachers should help and guide them in a proper way and guide them to a successful life.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good hostel facility with food. It has different hostels for both boys and girls, with different canteens for both. Overall, it has the best food facilities and stay facilities with all the security. It has the best security for students. It has a well-built infrastructure. It also has playgrounds, a basketball court, and a volleyball court to play on and spend some time.
Faculty: The teaching faculty members or qualified and knowledgeable, but the at the point of teaching quality, we don't feel up to outstanding quality, so they need to improve on it. In the course curriculum, they don't provide much in-depth knowledge, like industry-ready projects or industries. Semester exams are really very hard for the 21st scheme. For passing, we need to score a minimum of 35 marks.
Other: I chose the mechanical course because I have been in mechanical in my diploma, so I chose it because it has attracted me earlier time before starting my diploma after 10th. I wish the mechanical syllabus could be more updated, and it would come with the new syllabus. I wish that every college organises some events at least two events a year so that students can be encouraged, feel good, and get attracted to the college.

KLS VDIT COLLEGE HALIYAL
Placements: The placement is not so good or bad it is decent . The companies are Infosys, Wipro etc but it has a decent package of around average of 5 LPA. The best is to complete the course and try outside, it gives the best opportunity better than college placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good , sports is not in that level to play, ground is too small but labs are best. All computers have minimum 16 gb RAM and at latest i5 12gen processor. Labs are best disciplined . Internet connectivity is there if the subject have use of internet.
Faculty: Teacher's teaching is best. If you don't understand, you can ask teachers will definitely help. All class rooms have projectors to teach. We have 2 internal and final exam, internal exams has 1 and half month gap between them. The question paper is from VTU but invigilator will be strict.
Other: Bus fee is high as it is outside the city and in a town. The buses are from Dharwad, Hubli, Belgaum and Dandeli. They take 15k per year, it is good as all these are 45-50 km away but buses are so full that 7-10 students stand in bus not in one but in all buses. So giving 15k and standing so long is not good.

Mainly, I'm talking about our college campus and hostel facilities.
Placements: Average placements are there, but they don't prepare students to crack the interview grounds. Only a few companies came to our college. Companies like Accenture and many start-up companies visit the college. Mainly, the EC branch students can get more opportunities in college to get placements.
Infrastructure: Mainly talking about the network section, only the BSNL network is available. The rest of the others like Airtel and Jio networks are good. In the hostel, there is a free Wi-Fi network for students. In our college, physics and chemistry labs are good, but computer labs for programming and CAED labs are not good. There is no good lab instructor. The library and classrooms are perfect.
Faculty: In my 1st year of engineering, some of the teachers are knowledgeable. When I came to the 2nd year of engineering, the programming teachers who taught Python, DSA, and PHP were not qualified and while teaching about programming, they also got confused and made us confused. This is the worst thing in my college.
Other: I came to this field only for good placements and well-qualified faculty. But after passing a year, I confirmly feel to leave the hope about the college placements.

Review of KLS Vishwanathrao Deshpande Institute of Technology.
Placements:
Almost 100% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Accenture, Deshpande Startups, Teach Mahindra, and Infosys. Our college provides average placements. A few companies visit our college to recruit students.
Infrastructure:
There is no Wi-Fi facility available at our college. Labs are well-equipped for experiments, with separate labs for each department. The library is also impressive, featuring separate sections for boys and girls. Each classmate can comfortably sit on the benches in the nice classrooms.
Faculty: The teaching quality is decent, with knowledgeable instructors, but some topics could have been explained in more depth. The course is a mixture of both hardware and software it's good for selecting. We are fit for any company so selecting the selection and communication engineering is a good choice.
Other:
I opted for this course because I have an interest in hardware. They should improve the basics of this course. Our college organises an umang event every year.
