KLS VDIT COLLEGE HALIYAL
Placements: The placement is not so good or bad it is decent . The companies are Infosys, Wipro etc but it has a decent package of around average of 5 LPA. The best is to complete the course and try outside, it gives the best opportunity better than college placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good , sports is not in that level to play, ground is too small but labs are best. All computers have minimum 16 gb RAM and at latest i5 12gen processor. Labs are best disciplined . Internet connectivity is there if the subject have use of internet.
Faculty: Teacher's teaching is best. If you don't understand, you can ask teachers will definitely help. All class rooms have projectors to teach. We have 2 internal and final exam, internal exams has 1 and half month gap between them. The question paper is from VTU but invigilator will be strict.
Other: Bus fee is high as it is outside the city and in a town. The buses are from Dharwad, Hubli, Belgaum and Dandeli. They take 15k per year, it is good as all these are 45-50 km away but buses are so full that 7-10 students stand in bus not in one but in all buses. So giving 15k and standing so long is not good.

Mainly, I'm talking about our college campus and hostel facilities.
Placements: Average placements are there, but they don't prepare students to crack the interview grounds. Only a few companies came to our college. Companies like Accenture and many start-up companies visit the college. Mainly, the EC branch students can get more opportunities in college to get placements.
Infrastructure: Mainly talking about the network section, only the BSNL network is available. The rest of the others like Airtel and Jio networks are good. In the hostel, there is a free Wi-Fi network for students. In our college, physics and chemistry labs are good, but computer labs for programming and CAED labs are not good. There is no good lab instructor. The library and classrooms are perfect.
Faculty: In my 1st year of engineering, some of the teachers are knowledgeable. When I came to the 2nd year of engineering, the programming teachers who taught Python, DSA, and PHP were not qualified and while teaching about programming, they also got confused and made us confused. This is the worst thing in my college.
Other: I came to this field only for good placements and well-qualified faculty. But after passing a year, I confirmly feel to leave the hope about the college placements.
