For our senior passing-out batch, around 70% of students got successfully placed through campus and off-campus recruitment drives. The highest package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.4 LPA. The average salary package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course include Philips Healthcare, GE Healthcare, Medtronic, and TCS. About 60% of students secured internships in companies like Siemens Healthineers, Narayana Health, and AIIMS, providing practical exposure. The top roles offered are clinical application specialists, biomedical engineers, regulatory associates, and technical support engineers.
Infrastructure: The Biomedical Engineering department at KMCT College of Engineering for Women offers excellent infrastructure and facilities. Our department is equipped with well-maintained laboratories such as the Biomedical Instrumentation Lab, DSP Lab, and Physiology Lab, along with smart classrooms and high-speed Wi-Fi access. The central library has a good collection of biomedical reference books and access to e-journals. The hostel facilities are clean and secure, with 24x7 water and electricity facilities. Rooms are regularly maintained. The mess provides hygienic and balanced meals and snacks at affordable prices. The hostel provides a purified water and Wi-Fi. The mess mostly serves South Indian food with a rotating menu. The canteen provides affordable snacks and meals. The campus has basic medical facilities, with tie-ups for emergency care. It has access to a nearby hospital. Students also enjoy sports and games, including facilities for volleyball, badminton, and a gym for physical fitness.
Other: I am currently pursuing Biomedical Engineering (2022-2026 batch) at KMCT College of Engineering for Women, Kozhikode. I chose this course because of my strong interest in the intersection of healthcare and technology, especially how engineering innovation can improve patient care and medical diagnostics. One of the best aspects of this course is its diverse curriculum that blends Biology electronics, and instrumentation, along with hands-on training through labs, internships, and minor or major projects.

Supportive faculty, good infrastructure, and decent placement opportunities for biomedical students.
Placements: I am part of the 2022-2026 batch pursuing biomedical engineering at KMCT College of Engineering for Women, Kozhikode. In our course, around 60%-70% of students got placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered is approximately 4.5 LPA, the lowest is 2.2 LPA, and the average stood at about 3 LPA. Top recruiters include Philips, GE Healthcare, Siemens Healthineers, and BPL Medical Technologies. Nearly 50%-60% of students secured internships in companies such as Medtronic, Narayana Health, and Care Hospital. The top roles offered are clinical engineer, biomedical service engineer, medical equipment application specials, and technical support executive.
Infrastructure: The biomedical engineering department at KMCT College of Engineering for Women offers well-equipped laboratories such as Biomedical Instrumentation, Anatomy & Physiology, DSP, and Embedded Systems labs. Classrooms are smart and Wi-Fi enabled, and the library provides access to relevant textbooks, journals, and e-resources. The campus has a peaceful environment suitable for focused learning. The campus also includes a canteen, playground, gym, and facilities for indoor and outdoor sports like badminton.
Faculty: The teachers in the Biomedical Engineering department are helpful, well-qualified, and possess strong subject knowledge. Many faculty members hold postgraduate and doctoral degrees and are approachable for academic and project support. The teaching quality is good, with a mix of theoretical and practical learning. The course curriculum is regularly updated and includes industry-relevant subjects, hands-on training, and seminars, helping students become more industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately challenging, focusing on both conceptual and application-based questions. The overall pass percentage is around 80%-90%, with proper guidance and internal assessment supporting student performance. 90%, with proper guidance and internal assessment supporting student performance.
Other: I belong to the 2022-2026 batch of biomedical engineering at KMCT College of Engineering for Women, Kozhikode. I'm almost satisfied, with a good placement being really good.
Placements: About 50% of students are placed in our college, with many companies offering the average and the highest packages. Companies like Biosystem and almost all other companies visit for placements. 90% of students got internships with different companies in the biomedical field.
Infrastructure: The hostel contains good rooms, a good canteen, and food that is almost nice. But there is no lab or library, and the college hostel does not have Wi-Fi facilities. Other facilities like the canteen, medical facilities, and sports and games are good. Overall, the hostel and its facilities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Exams in our college are somewhat difficult. All exams are conducted in Series 1 and Series 2. Overall, it's good, and the pass percentage is around 50%.

Well-maintained college campus and academic excellence.
Placements: Almost 90% of students were placed in the previous batches. The salary package varies from 20k to 30k for freshers. Biomedical engineers act as clinical engineers in hospitals, work in sales and services in companies like G&G, Siemens, Philips, etc., and in the manufacturing of equipment.
Infrastructure: Well-maintained labs and classrooms. The hostel mess food is really good compared to any other messes in Kerala. The hostel is well-maintained and cleaned daily. The hostel contains a security guard, a matron, and a warden. Very facilitated rooms. Very calm and cool atmosphere.
Faculty: Teachers are well educated, trained, and have high qualifications like M.Tech and Ph.D. The semester exams come under KTU, and exams are average for students to attend. It's a long-term course of 4 years, and the teaching staff are well-mannered and very helpful.
Other: This is an interesting field connecting both medical and engineering. It's a new course, so the job opportunities are higher compared to other engineering courses.
